Nuno Lopes
Afterall the portuguese cinema have a chance if they want... the problem is always the same: our government doesn't care about art and in this case about cinema! it's really rare to have a good portuguese movie and this one is. A shame that few people went to the cinema to see this one and to show everyone that is possible to do great cinema and to have audience! Another problem is that the portuguese people only goes to the cinema to see portuguese movies only when the movies are shit with some dirty jokes...

Nuno Lopes is great here and almost everthing he does since comic days he wes great. I hope to see him more often at the big screens and also hope that the portuguese press give him what he deserves!

Obrigado!

beatiful Mexican town and his lovely boy
I confess that the reason I seen this animation movie was because of the oscars nominations. There are some years now I don't see animation because in Portugal there is not the original language for animation what is for me an abomination. Beautiful and touching, the film give us a big message about the mexican culture. There is no other way than winning the oscar for best animation picture later tonight. I loved the movie and the color approach between the living and the ones that are among us anymore is beautiful. Also the pets touch is amazing.

more than a love story
What a lovely surprise! Yes, for me was a surprise because some months ago I said that maybe I wasn't seing this movie due to dresses theme. Fortunately I've changed my mind because of the last awards events and in the last few days I was looking foward to see it after all. Beautiful, and at some point kind of scary, movie with good sound, great cinematography, amazing acting and the message within the film is something else. Far more than a simple love story: the first forgets how to look to the second and the only way to fix it is facing a precarious situation, the second has to provoke something proving its love even if its putting everything at stake. We can't hate them at any moment because we know that they love each other. I always like the silent pauses when are the eyes that says everything and at the same time dialogs are really good. Costume Design Oscar Winner its well deserved.

2017 favorite film!
Amazing, addicted, intelligent and wonderful movie. My favorite film of 2017 (of course I didn't see all of them)!!! We stay attached to the screen until the end. Amazing debut to the director that also wrote this masterpiece. Brilliant!!!

"You were one of my favorites."
