Not your standard home invasion film. No safe room. The father is right wingish, but the families safety is more than he can insure given the sabotage of his left wing son, daughter and wife. His family's inability to live within the simple one day of the year common sense measures necessary for their own survival. Being smarter and more humane than the rest of world would have rid us all of them. Of course, the writers had to take swipes at "the new founding fathers" at the beginning and the end. To a degree, I wish we would have purge days. Writers like these and people who have trouble accepting reality, would be among the first to go. And those evil rich people that have taken over America on here, are way to out numbered and possess way to many treasure factors to ever eliminate the poor. I'd be surprised it the combined IQ of the writers exceeds 40.

Racist trash with a racist star. Racism is either alright or it's not. The hypocrisy will either end when a major production is done starring The KKK and the Aryan Brotherhood or when Hollywood stops trying to divide America along racial lines. This is just a sign of how low the times have gone.

While graphic violence and obscenities are hallmarks of a Tarantino film, it's hardly anything you can take family or new female friends to.You won't see it in anything near an understandable version on TV or at a church social.

Unfortunately, one star is as low as it goes. It's actually a five dumpster.

Just finished watching The Raid: Redemption. You have to switch the audio to the English sound track. When it first came on, it said "Sony Pictures Classic" and I said "This is no classic." Was I ever wrong. Totally in your face. The best fight choreography and filming I have seen in a long time. As even Ms. Vicki said, "Damn !"

It's hard to believe they did this for $1.1 million. It's first rate, top to bottom. The head bad guy was a perfect choice. His main fighter was skilled and proud.

The filming made the fight scenes nearly teaching video quality. Pretty rare.

The blood sprays were off color, but plentiful and well filmed as well.

The movie kicks ten butts, I mean, it rates ten stars with me.

It may not be too original, but it's been a long time since I have seen a movie this well acted and clean. The Big Show can actually act. The man has some serious acting chops, exhibiting a range of emotion not required in hardcore action movies.

The movie screams corny when you read the plot of the movie and realize what company is behind it, but it isn't. WWE finally made a pretty good movie. Even the sound was unusually crisp and reminded me just how good my home theater system can make a movie sound.

This movie is in the tradition of the best Disney movies. Disney should make movie this good and of this quality, but they don't do it anymore.

If this crew gets together again and makes another movie, me and mine will be right there waiting.
