I Am a Killer
(2018)

Painful recording--it hurt my ears to listen to this
This is what happens when you don't hire a professional to record your audio. I can't even watch it, it's too painful to my ears to listen to. Seemed interesting, but the audio...

Saving Zoë
(2019)

Unwatchable-- audio is terrible
Whoever the sound team was on this deserves to get fired. The recording, the dubbing, the ADR, the mixing... terrible. It was offensive to my ears.

Withdrawn
(2017)

Boring and didn't go anywhere.
It's like a Gus Van Sant movie without the interesting sound design to keep you motivated and interested. No music, no plot, just watching a boring loser of a guy go through a few days of his loser life. I'm fine with slice-of-life films, but this is just really boring.

Order of Chaos
(2010)

unwatchable
I'm a sound person, so this film to me was unwatchable. Whoever did the mixing knows nothing at all about what they're doing. I walked out. It was painful to listen to. I have no idea if the movie was any good because I quit after ten minutes because I couldn't bear to sit through it. It was an insult to every sound person ever in existence.

The music was equally terrible. Why anybody who is clearly untrained thought they could tackle music is beyond me.

What was the director doing not hiring a decent sound team? Please, director, if you want someone to watch your movie, re-do it with a real sound team and a real composer.

Pregnancy Pact
(2010)

Insultingly bad
This movie was insulting to women and men. The entire film blames the girls for getting pregnant throughout. The only thing that comes close to addressing the role that the boys had in this was when Jesse says, "I should have pulled out or bought condoms!" Well, duh. These girls did not get pregnant by themselves, and yet the film treats them that way. Its moralistic overtones were also over the top agonizingly bad. Honestly, we all know teen pregnancy is bad. There is no real depth in why these girls got pregnant, what the town was like to live in, where they saw their futures being, etc. The dialogue was unbelievable, the characters stereotyped and sad. The music was dire--it was as bad as Secret Life of the American Teenager--probably by the same person. It was painful to listen to. In all, an awful movie. I can't think of a single redeeming element to this film.
