I love marvel. I love DC. Shazam was good. Aquaman was very good. Joker was barely ok. And Birds of Prey is at the bottom of the bottom of all the listed films. If I want color I can go look at a Garden of flowers. I want to be entertained with quality material. OMG did I want to walk out of this movie. The studio will make their money, but it won't be at my expense. You've been warned... you are better off seeing Cats or The Grudge.

I mean WTF??!! I like most of the cast in this movie, BUT this was TERRIBLE. Are people getting paid to say this movie is good? I RARELY write movie reviews but had to inform people of the facts on this one. WORSE THAN AWFUL. If i were not an AMC A-List member, i would have demanded my money back!!

At least Fantastic 4 had me interested the entire movie, even though there was little to no action/fighting scenes. I kept dozing off the first 60-75 minutes of this Superman vs Batman movie. Then tease me with things at the end? I don't see how people can be so quick to over- analyze and criticize a sub par Fantastic 4 movie, but then turn around and praise a sub par Superman movie. The new Lex is TERRIBLE. The new Batman is even worse. That big head not clean shaven look is TERRIBLE. I mean, you can't even clean up for a white tie event? It did not at all correlate with past or present. His frickin head and chin is so big, the metal bat helmet looked like someone tried to stuff two heads into the helmet. The characters are a HUGE downgrade. Overall, just a slow moving film with bad character portrayal.

Everyone is such a movie critic.. but yet they work at McDonalds every day. Come on people.. the movie was not great, but FAR from bad or terrible. It honestly deserves a 5 rating, but i gave it a 6 due to all the people improperly bashing the film for some reason. There is a work up to get an understanding of how the powers come about. Prior to that, a brief history of some of the characters. The story-line was not great, but it fulfilled most of the basic necessities. Was the acting great, probably not. Could some of the characters have used different actors, well maybe. And the ending.. yes, it absolutely underwhelmed. All in all, every film is going to have some flaw or point that someone will have something negative to say about it. My advice.. go enjoy the movie when it's not at the peak price point, like earlier in the day before evening prices begin.

Another reviewer named "pycs" wrote and I quote "Most January movie releases are simply just studios putting on junk they know is junk to make a quick buck. This January, the big studios have subjected audiences to the horrendous 'The Devil Inside' and the extremely corny 'Red Tails.' Even a semi-decent release like 'Contraband' was easy forgettable." How am I to believe any of your reviews or anyone else that writes untruthful words. Contraband was a pretty good movie, definitely when compared to the very awful movie being reviewed here, Haywire. As for Red Tails, I have not seen it yet. But I will say that the poor review of The Devil Inside is more than accurate.

Haywire was not bad.. it is AWFUL!! I can not give a movie a good rating just because the last 15-20 mins of the movie turns out to be pretty good. I don't like to be deceived, but Hollywood and people that write false untruthful reviews are simply trying to deceive people into wasting their time and money.

Take it from me, don't see this movie.

I guess some people just expect an award winning movie and actors every time they step foot into a theatre. I was doubtful about this movie in spite of the decent trailers. From start to finish I was blown away with the storyline and its continuous different turns. Maybe its not completely original in terms of the overall story, but what movie is these days. Colombiana keeps you glued to the screen. It has moments of love and drama, and then it brings out the action and suspense. I have not written a review in quite some time, but when a movie is receiving undue praise or criticism then i feel obligated to disclose the truth to the public. Do yourself a favor and go see it.

What the heck is going on!?! Is this movie really being rated GOOD? WOW!!! It's absolutely amazing how money, power, and your name can get you to undeserved heights. This movie was wack, terrible, not good, boring, not deserving of being in any theatre, and just plain awful. I very seldom rate movies, but i always try to rate the really good ones. I like movies of all different genres, so i am not very picky. And i LOVE sci-fi! But this particular movie was not good. I am sorry, but somebody needs to speak the truth. Maybe all of the good reviews were people that got paid to write the review??? If you watch the movie and enjoy, then good for you. The average person would not really care for this movie, that's my opinion. Definitely don't make the mistake of spending more than $3-$5... it's just not worth it. Hope I've been helpful to someone. And let me state for the record, I usually like Abram's and Spielberg's work. Not this time.
