Half Nelson
(2006)

Empathy has no age
Yes, It's a story about a washed out teacher with a drug problem.. But what I love about this film is that he feels close, similar, like it happened to you.

No one is bad or good, they're all just human. A film that teaches us that connection comes from the soul, not from age. There are no dramas, no over the top fights, screams or disasters... Witness how life happens under unfruitful circumstances and how it always continues.

The Wildest Dream
(2010)

Golden age of expedition
"For a couple of minutes, I entertained the idea of not telling anybody". Maybe the mystery was better, maybe not knowing if George had reached the top or not was better for Conrad. Although I'm not sure if there is more evidence in favor of George not making the summit, I find beautiful that the strongest evidence in favor of his successful ordeal, is the missing picture of Ruth. How times have changed.

As with many interviews with great climbers, experience the humility and almost alien way mountaineers think. Follow Conrad's respectful mission to uncover one of the greatest mysteries in mountaineering, was Mallory the first human on the top of the world?

Touching the Void
(2003)

Into the Human Condition
It starts out as a typical climbing movie, where a couple of ambitious occidental climbers take on one of mother's nature jewels. It quickly turns into a story of strength, endurance and human condition.

The way Joe and Simon tell the story will immediately make you feel humbled, they are honest, compassionate and will let into their most character building experience. Both their souls can be seen through their eyes when they talk, trying to tell us what was like to be 25, strong, ambitious and how much different they are now.

You will feel claustrophobic, empathetic and will understand why mountaineering gives you brothers for life.

Spider-Man: Homecoming
(2017)

Feels like a new take
Very watchable movie. Loved the whole unsuccessful love story with Liz and how you grow found of MJ without knowing it's her. Nice transformation of Peter's character and love the new take on aunt may.

Although Tony Stark's short appearance feels like a budget decision for the film, makes a great narrative element, constructing Peter's persona as the movie unfolds.
