I Am...
(2019)

painful realism
I love British drama exactly for what makes it what it is, the hardcore, in-your-face realism. But this!? Some episodes are like, socio-horror if there's such a genre. To the point where it's not enjoyable anymore; I did come very close to turning it off on at least two occasions, luckily there is some let-up in the end with some of them like in series 1 episode 2 there's a somewhat positive outcome. So, it achieves really well what it sets out to do, but do we really want to watch for entertainment what already goes on in real life?

Friends: The Reunion
(2021)

At last
I've been dreaming (literally) about a new episode or a movie of Friends for years, ever since I first heard rumours of a final get-together, and because it kept staying a rumour, i.e. Nothing happened for years, I sort of never took the possibility seriously. And at last, this Monday I found out that the reunion airs Thursday in the US. And today I have watched it. I cried my eyes out and I'm not ashamed. I grew into adulthood on this series. They have been "in my life" for 20 years!!! Thank you so much for making this happen.

The Endless
(2017)

I would give it 10/10 over and over
I remembered watching this once, but not why I had given it 10, so I watched it again, and yes, I would give this movie 10 out of 10 any time. I don't have the patience to elaborate unfortunately (writing well is like labour for me), but I wish I could somehow tell the creators of this movie what geniuses they are in my opinion. To bring in the Lovecraftian horror so subtly, and the concept itself is just mind boggling too. Thank you for this experience! It's not for everyone though.
