Pippa
(2023)

Much much better than expected
Crisp, concise, realistic, eye opening. It is unfortunate to see lower ratings for such an attempt and then blaming production houses for churning out non sense. Pacing, direction, practical effects to an unexpected level to keep the feel grounded and real, everything simply works. Should have been a theatrical release considering the effort went into making it but changed paradigm just doesn't allow "good content" to be profitable in theatres. In the sea of sub standard content, give some love to quality for a change. Good job and congratulations to the team. Now I am just trying to use up remaining 34 characters.

HIT: The First Case
(2022)

Please ignore the bad reviews
It seems the top reviews which rate this movie a 4 or a 3 are targeted and intentional trashing, probably because it is a remake of Telugu movie made by same director and the review writers do not appreciate the same movie being remade in bollywood.

Very good plot, very well executed and Rajkumar is extremely convincing in his portrayal.

I haven't seen the original and don't care either. I am sure original must be good and so is this one as it is a frame to frame remake (checked out the telugu trailer).

I don't understand why people have to be so pathetic to trash good work just because they are fans of certain actor who played the same role in original.

Story and pacing are perfect to keep you hooked.

The Gray Man
(2022)

Mediocre at best
Hard to believe this was made by the guys who made Winter Soldier, Infinity War and Endgame.

Mediocre direction, editing and wasted acting talent. A simple story can still work if the execution is on point e.g. Extraction, but this one fails at so many levels.

Thor: Love and Thunder
(2022)

Please avoid, make an effort to avoid
Sad and unable to mince words. This one is absolute garbage. Audience panned Dark World which wasn't even half as bad as this. It is hard to imagine how exactly were the executives were ok to put this on screen and still everyone had the audacity to make sky high promises in interviews.

And yeah, this is how you completely waste someone of Christian Bale's calibre.

Taika needs to understand where to draw a line. If a formula worked for Ragnarok, it doesn't mean doubling down on it would be double the fun.

Taish
(2020)

Wow...just wow
Impeccable attention to detail...a plot set in UK actually taking into account the nitty gritties of UK life and language...superb writing, direction and then acting to bring everything together in such realistic way.

The Suicide Squad
(2021)

So overrated but best Harley ever
Honestly it was an okay experience. Didn't get bored, didn't watch anything great. It is so easy to see that the initial hype was fully paid reviews. This is the best Harley iteration though, the best.

Boss Level
(2020)

What a pleasant surprise
This one has it all. It is funny, good action and surprisingly well written plot with emotional deapth too. Enjoyed end to end.

Code M
(2020)

Pretentious with super shallow plot
Wanted this to be good. On paper it has good actors and bit stylised too but damn there is barely any script. There is barely any story and so many mistakes. It doesn't need 8 episodes. Could have been compressed in just 2.

5 star only for trying.

Line of Duty
(2012)

Deserves more international recognition
Netflix should definitely grab this one so that people around the world can enjoy this rare find. When a 45 mins long purely interview sequence in a room in a season finale keeps you hooked and on edge of your seat, you have done something massively right fella!!
