I enjoyed the 1st season of the show.

Great movie, an epic masterpiece. I love the story from the book, and I think the movie is a great interpretation of the book. I can't compare the movie and the book I will just recommend both. If you can accept a fantasy world, and you love stories about heroes, honor and the battle between good and evil, you will love The Lord of the Rings. The book contains a lot more "scenes" than the film, and of course a lot more explaining, but I think the director did a great job by choosing what part of the story could into a movie, because it is a different medium and instead the movie is filled with marvelous pictures of middle earth. And one last great thing is the music, which is enchanting.
