This is what happens when you try to milk a series. Bad ben movies had been a pleasant fun thing for me to watch when chilling at home, but this last entry is just the people behind it trying too hard to milk it. In case you are a person who watched all previews entries do yourself a favor and skip this one so it doesn't ruin the good memories you might have from the previews one. Stay away is my suggestion. There legit nothing new nothing fun or interesting going on, just a girl acting TERRIBLY BAD if i might say, roaming around a house acting like stupid. I really wish it was better but nope.

The movie spams all the past to your face with no shame. Now i'm gonna judge this for what it is, a Spielberg high production movie. So with that in mind the movie is a 5/10 at BEST. I never cared for the characters and the movie never tried to make me do so, plot is ok but still not what it could be. By the end of the movie i was just waiting for the movie to be done, which is never a good thing.Usualy a good movie EVEN if i don't care from the start it manages to grab me at the end, this one did none of those very weak characters and just a typical hollywood acting, nothing to remember in the long run. My advice is, watch when you are bored and from some streaming service or rent, this is not worth any purchase.

I normally don't get people that hate on adaptations, but this time, i can understand all the hate this movie gets. It has NOTHING to do with the actual manga or anime and i mean nothing. The characters are not as they should be, the plot is not as it should be, the only thing that looks as it should, well, kinda.. Is Ryuk and he is BARELY used in the film.

The film does nothing to set a pace or a tone for the film, and IMO it just assumes you know what's up already. But, even if you know from the anime it still has nothing to do with it.

Long story short don't waste your time if you want to watch an ACTUAL adaptation of Death Note, as this ISN'T one. The movie just preys on the name of Death Note and it's a shame.

The actual rating i would give is 3/10 for the effort, BUT, i don't wanna help the rating of this movie any further.

A movie for fans of nightwish only. I was waiting for this one, only to be disappointed... I like nightwish music too but let's keep it that way... I really don't know what to say for this movie if you can even call it a movie of course, boring story, boring plot, uninteresting characters. The acting is OK, the FX are good, but in the end the movie does not make it in the long run... I found myself trying not to fall asleep through the whole movie and the nightwish music parts are just out of place. The music which is a BIG point of this movie just doesn't fit with more of the scenes! The album itself was good but only for a music album not for movie. That's just my humble opinion so...

The film is what you expect from a 007 movie... Nothing more nothing less and it just gets boring. Action, drama, a bit of humor and that's about it. 6/10, its exactly just above average. The acting is good enough but Bond, has lost his quality, his class, his savior of the world attitude and thats a really BAD thing... And where are the cool gadgets of his??? The crazy cars? They just throw them out the window in this one. So.. Things are missing and things are changed but in the other hand for me 007 was a dying franchise anyway. My verdict is, quite watchable movie for what it is some action before you go to sleep...

Well i'll cut it short... the whole thing with the building always changing and stuff reminded me of silent hill era... well... kinda. SO, to the point the movie is NOT SCARY, it builds tension but in the end just doesn't know what to do with it... The plot progress from 1 to 2 is what i liked the most. The whole thing with the building having a mind of its own or being kind of, "hell on earth" or something is quite interesting... so no more spoilers the movie is good enough for watching it once and you should all give it a try on a boring day perhaps.

Verdict: Scary:NO Story:mediocre but interesting Acting:well... not TOO bad.

6/10 and mostly for the interesting progression with the story.
