I saw this movie as a kid and fell in love. This movie isn't meant to win awards. It's meant to satisfy a particular fan base. Vanilla Ice was that guy around the time and it was only right they put him in a movie where he's the lead. He's a Inner City rapper who meets the small town girl and sparks fly. It's the epitome of "When opposites attract" and it does in a cliché, edgy fun kind of way.

Some people just take themselves too seriously and this film doesn't and thats what makes it great. The music was fantastic. The dances were of the times. The clothes, bikes, humor, it was a cool put together movie.

The concept of the movie is a wild one. I definitely didn't expect the big reveal. It's a new angle on a twist in a horror movie thats built around immigrants. Lol, you can also tell they aimed a few parts at Trump lol.

I feel like this movie was not meant to win any awards, it was a playful low budgeted film thats supposed to entertain you. Which it did. The Chemistry between the cast was spot on too. Jenna is always fantastic and My boy, Jorge is dope too.

I gave it a 7. I think I rated it correctly. It wasn't too out there, it wasn't a gore fest. It was good story telling and fun at the same time.

In 1989, I was 8 but where was I? I watched everything 80's back then. From "Fast Forward" to "Electric Boogaloo" to "Footloose", I watched over and over. This movie was incredible. The story alone was pretty original for It's time too. The dances were perfect and fitting for the time and even now. These moves are timeless. Some magic can never be recaptured. Aww man the soundtrack, wow.

I never paid much attention room to Peter Dobson but he was pretty rad in this role. He had the 80's look down packed too. Jessica Steen and Peter's dynamic was right on. Had I seen this movie when I was 8, I would of definitely rooted for them.

What Dutch couldn't do, a little girl did ... easily. This Predator has to be the most ruthless killer of all the Predators to date but a teenage girl was too far equipped to lose.

Supposedly the movie takes place i'm 1719, who taught them English? But that's another story. Prey, hmm. Once I saw that a girl was the protagonist in this , I knew all common sense would be out the window. Ridley couldn't even do to the aliens what this girl did to this Predator.

The kills were awesome, I will admit and the Predator was ferocious. The bear scene was great. I also like how premature the predators tech was.

Final thought - Watch it, why not. You may truly enjoy it.

My mother told me about this movie and I finally decided to give it a go. Jason Momoa, is great as a Father pushed to the limit to seek justice. The movie keeps you on your toes all throughout until the final act. Truly a jaw dropping twist.
