Cilali Ibo ve Kirk Haramiler
(1964)

I haven't been watching the polished Ibo for a long time,
I haven't been watching the polished Ibo for a long time, namely Feridun. It was nice to see Ahmet Tarik too. I don't know the other players.

The producer was Yoakim Filmerides. I think I saw it for the first time. There are 4 movies according to the internet.

The scene where they step on the cat's tail was so bad. What was the use of this nonsense! That's why I'll give it 5/10.

Habudiyar musical was good. Everyone said together.

At one point he was saying "I'm like Ayhan Isik brother" while jumping. They make good references in movies like this :)

Another classic Cilali Ibo movie. He's like a superhero, but a commoner.

The director used to listen to Mehmet, who passed away recently.

I don't know if they really went abroad like in the texas movie, but again, the effort is in the big movie. Feridun is really a different player.

Mahalle arkadaslari
(1961)

Movie made in 1961.
Movie made in 1961.

It was nice to see old Istanbul. Seeing black and white movies. I haven't seen the Erol stone for a while. Not in a bad role this time. It was good to see Suphi and Kadir Defend too. Kadir's voiced voice is different this time. It's not what I'm used to.

Drinking on the walls is also nice :)

The songs and fun while cleaning the house were good. It was nice to see the fun and neighborhood friendship.

He plots pretty well to separate the lovers, but it doesn't work very well. Happy ending thanks to friends.

It was also nice to see the commuter train.

It was not adapted from the book. Metin Erksan is the director and he directed it really well and he wrote/adapted the script.

I give it 8/10.

Born in Flames
(1983)

I watched that movie at nobu projects in antalya during feminist movie festivals.
I watched that movie at nobu projects in antalya during feminist movie festivals. It was in june.

I tried to remember and i also had notes so i keep writing from them for this review.

Women had privileges but when men protested, the women gave up it. Why?

It seems they have a black president but not black privilege.

Bike protest was not so strong but government made it a big deal. Interesting.

We see how people who need to be united can be divided. Workers, feminists. But then feminists go together. Radio and army. And a big protest happens.

I think there is only lesbian as LGBTIQ+, not other people. I did not see.

We see how media tries to manipulate the people. Media talks about always past. How past was bad and how today is good. Just like in turkey. Media tries to make people sleep.

So radio and music becomes powerful. Against that patriarchal media.

The songs, those nice funky songs is one of the things that stayed in my mind. Also great music and how women found the answer in violence. Because there were no choices. It is 10 years after revolution, which was supposed to bring equality but it did not change anything for except straight males.

There were lots of referrings to real things. Like black panther party - explosion in the end.

Florynce Kennedy was great as zella. So does Adele Bertei as isabel.

I need to watch this movie again. It is great feminist-revolutionary movie. I give 9/10!

Saute ma ville
(1971)

I watched this movie in feminist film festival at nobu art projects in antalya.
I watched this movie in feminist film festival at nobu art projects in antalya.

I watched in june. So, i cant remember much.

It was simple and short. There was only one woman in the movie.

The final scene, the suicide reminded me Sylvia plath.

Chantal Akerman is acting and directing at same time. Her first movie.

The woman is assigned to kitchen. It is like a metaphor maybe.

The soundtrack was nice as i remember.

JFK
(1991)

I thought we would see JFK's life in the movie b
I thought we would see JFK's life in the movie but it is not like that. We see the events after assassination. It is showing 60 years before, which was released 30 years ago.

After the batista was overthrown in 1959 with cuban revolution (1953-1959), usa tried to take down castro. In 1961 usa supported Bay of Pigs Invasion of cuba (so jfk supported also) but castro and cuba defeated them. That is why it is said cia wanted JFK dead.

Good to see kevin coster and kevin bacon. They are really young. Also i know some actors. Liz garrison is from bloodline series, some from alias, Wayne knight from jurassic park.

Some citizens are happy about JFK's death, some are sad. Interesting.

I think it was quite different days. A president could travel in a car which was not protected or armored. So defendless. MAybe he did not care about threads.

It was interesting, the suspect spoke to the journalists and the cops let it. Even, he said "cops hit me" and wanted a lawyer. It is really interesting.

3 years past but jim just realized something is not right. And started investigation. Without any fear. And probably he did not know about cia, fbi all was helping anti-castro cuban people to destroy castro. Or did he know that?

USa was amateur at that times but now they do those invasions better :)

Jim and others became a nice team. We can see people wearing hats. Modern ages.

Cia, fbi all are trying to hide. Killing the last witnesses.

That 'x' tells about how cia worked worldwide. France, nazis, italy, iran. How usa overthrown the governments. Except cuba :)

I dont like or dislike JFK, i appreciate some of his works (preventing wars, supporting blacks) but i am really sad to realize how security, cia or whatever left him so vulnerable -also i think his wife who was scared in the video- and prepared his death.

And 'X' gives nice advices. "Only chance is to come up with a case", "make arrests"... What a historical moment and advice for usa history. It would be better for jim if his wife was more supportive. She did not believe in him even. Then jfk then malcolm then robert was murdered.

In the last, he had such a great speech and influence but nothing happens. Why. I could not get it.

Addings after watching: A nice oliver stone movie. 3.5 hours but not boring, so enjoyable movie. I hope one day everyone learns the truth which was hidden.

I watched that movie around on 2-3 april but today 17 july. I just finished review after months.

Çifte tabancali damat
(1967)

1967 movie.
1967 movie.

It's like a fun movie. Osman Alyanak, Ozturk, Vahi, Kadir and so on, which I have not seen for a long time, are all together.

Good to see munir i. Probably the first time.

It was nice to hear the Spanish songs. And dances too.

It was nice to see nubar too, albeit at the end.

It was interesting that the ending was like that :) A different ending indeed.

It's a good reference to US movies. A movie that I found successful.

Ben Milyoner Degilim
(1986)

It was good to see Suna, Kazim, Hayri Caner. In my old Taksim, in Istanbul.
It was good to see Suna, Kazim, Hayri Caner. In my old Taksim, in Istanbul.

I watched it for the sake of those three actors.

It's like a copy of a movie but I couldn't get it out. When he entered there, the rich person was dying of a heart attack.

I remembered that Sadri Alisik is a painter film.

Even though there are absurd places, it is a movie that does not contain evil, death, etc.

Tel Örgü
(1969)

I haven't been watching ayhan i for quite some time.
I haven't been watching ayhan i for quite some time. That's why I came, even though it's a nationalist movie. I had watched the movie about Thrace before. For example, the letter from the dungeon. It was probably taken after this movie.

It was nice to see Huseyin Bardan too.

It was nice to see old Istanbul too. Say Hulusi.

I didn't like Zeynep Aksu's acting. How many times did he accidentally look at the camera?

I couldn't find the lullaby. Anyone know a link? It's like a different lullaby. "You can't grow if you don't sleep my angel"

Eeha was going to marry, but she is helping the spouse of the person she will marry later. These are good things.

The ending is a bit silly. Still, it can be called a happy ending.

Sosyete Sakir
(1970)

It was nice to see Hulusi and Ali Sen.
It was nice to see Hulusi and Ali Sen. It had been quite a while since I had watched sema and tanju. Altan gunbay, muruvvet sim too. And suheyl egriboz.

It's a sweet movie. Happy ending. Classic yesilcam. 1970 movie.

Kirik hayatlar
(1965)

This is the first time I see Cuneyt and belgin together.
This is the first time I see Cuneyt and belgin together. I hadn't watched Belgin for quite some time. It was good in that respect, she.

It was also nice to see hulusi afterwards. And onder somer i.

Cuneyt and belgin are quite surprised and afraid when they see the relationships that do not fit the society. Those scenes were beautiful too, she. Cuneyt was surprised again when Onder Somer said "I don't cheat on my wife" after the marriage. How many times does he experience culture shock?

It's a good drama.

Children push the cat with their feet. It was so bad and ridiculous there.

It's not a book adaptation. Halit ziya usakligil.

I couldn't quite understand if the girl's name is mine. I searched and couldn't find it.

Dilberler yuvasi
(1962)

I came because of the movie Leyla Sayar.
I came because of the movie Leyla Sayar. It was nice to see Kenan and Necdet too. Yilmaz too. Suphi yi of course.

Kenan is not one of the bad characters we are used to in this movie. His view of women is bad, he even did collectibles. Other than that it's not bad. It even helps young people.

Fun movie nonetheless. A rich person, good amenities and poor people who take advantage of them. Pink worlds :)

It's not nice for them to trap insects and stuff.

Classic yesilcam style with a beautiful ending. I think this is Leyla's first movie.

Ne Umduk Ne Bulduk
(1976)

In Turker inanoglu's films, such cases of harassment against women were not usually handled. Even if it is processed here in the first place. It's nice that it shows an ongoing problem.

Adile goes and asks for a good account for this harassment incident :) At that time, the other women there were desperately silent. Even though they knew they would come on their own, or maybe they did. It's so tragic. The realities of this land unfortunately. Such abominations.

And in the end, the "rich husband" saves situation arises because the woman does not want to stand on her feet. Neither in reality nor in movies.

It was nice to see Adile. I hadn't been watching for a while. And answer i.

Normally I watch movies from the 1960s. The late 1970s aren't bad either. Dusty pink films are usually like here.

It was not pleasant to see animal bodies. They were once breathing, running, having fun, feeling creatures. And this cruelty continues every second.

On the other hand, there is a situation like "you deserve to be the wife of rich people" by not liking the shopkeepers and even humiliating them. That's what her mother always says to her daughter.

Then she meets that man and he can't even say he's a driver. Bullshit events. The man wants to marry her because gulsen is rich. That's why Gulsen is a bit like that at first. Such disgusting things. It progresses and ends with nonsense things without breaking the dusty pinkness.

The director is clever octen. I'm giving 7 for her and her sake.

Manyaklar köskü
(1963)

There was a Gunsiray film company. I heard for the first time.
There was a Gunsiray film company. I heard for the first time.

The years I love to watch are the 1960s.

It was nice to hear Orhan talk while thinking about something. Sometimes there were other players.

It was nice to see Ozturk serengil as well. I haven't watched it for a long time.

Orhan has a fridge full of beer. He opens the beers with his mouth. Nice scenes :)

It's a nice detective. That makes you wonder, that drags you. But was there a need for them to inform the novelist, it is strange there :)

Orhan cheats on the sun, but it's being ignored like a normal thing.

The script was written by a great rate, and the director was in touch.

Kara Pençe'nin Intikami
(1973)

It was a sequel.
It was a sequel. His dead father and suleyman are lame. Even if they show these people in the first place.

There is Kazim Kartal from the other movie and fatma.

He had a local lover, I think he was dead. The foreign person was dear to you with your fatma certificate. It continues here too, even he had a child.

Compared to the other movie, it seemed simple and ridiculous. Nationalism is exaggerated. It ended in a ridiculous way.

Maglup Edilemeyenler
(1976)

From the movies before the 80 coup.
From the movies before the 80 coup. Like most of those years with high tension and high social messages. Atif Yilmaz was the director.

It is a film in which phrases such as "corrupt order" and "justice" are very common and even though the word "revolution" is not mentioned, it is understood and processed that it is the desired thing. It's not forbidden either.

I think it's the first time I've seen Cuneyt and Mujde together. Kenan pars and life, too. Kenan la cuneyt i actually :) And of course consignment.

It started with a solid introduction, with solid messages and good news headlines.

It was good to see the consignment. I haven't watched it for a long time. Say Ihsan Yuce. Kenan i too. Kenan and life are together with ultra villains :)

Mindset has not changed. The look at the woman is the same. The language is used to blame the woman with the news that raped but "the sex party ended badly". His fiancee is leaving and so on.

The rich were obviously not that strong back then. Police-state-politics cannot protect them as they are now. Because they caught fire with a single newspaper article. Even now, their armor will not be pierced with holes :)

Cuneyt or kadir, or sometimes tarik, are good movies in which he resists injustice to the system like this.

The scene where he chased Hayati in a car was beautiful, even if it was short. They pointed to the old streets and houses, and the chase of cars ended at the head of a staircase.

In the 50th minute, we see those who try to sell their newspapers with revolutionary slogans. And they have a nice conversation in the printing house. "Corruption, bribery is the natural result of this scheme." style sentences.

It was nice to see the suburban train as well. I guess Cuneyt really traveled holding on to the train :) It was dangerous scenes, jumping from the train or something. If it is real. There were times when smoking was possible on the train :)

An order in which the strong can do anything. We still see that it has not changed.

When vital printing presses the last time, Sevket tries to take a photo. It was funny :)

I waited for the length of the movie when Cuneyt would die. Because it was necessary to die, just like in the similar "indestructible man" movies. Unfortunately, he suffered a death similar to the one in the movies.

We can say that he could not crush the strong this time. A film in which unity and solidarity beat the cruel. So much so that even that famous newspaper recruits Cuneyt. It was disclosed one by one, barons, even bosses.

At the end, the dead person takes the pen out of the pocket. Good message again. But he shouldn't have been that brave enough to go around.

At the end, it ends with the newspaper headlines as in the beginning. I don't know if it's real news.

Sari Öküz Parasi
(1985)

Even though it's a movie that sees the animal as a commodity, I watched it.
Even though it's a movie that sees the animal as a commodity, I watched it. Animals are sentient creatures just like us. It should not be used as an item, it should not be given as a gift, it should not be seen as a resource.

It was nice to see the Bosphorus Bridge.

It came from Puturge, that village was Malatya. My family's hometown :)

The commissioner is behaving well, it seemed strange that he first met when he came to Istanbul. He even got the money back.

Funny things like "Can I say a ball door or a ball handle" :)

It is also nice to see it with the Aysen gruda.

Finally, I don't understand why he has no money. Because he was collecting Habire.

Yavuz yalinkilic, who had quite different movies, was the director.

The Path: What the Fire Throws
(2016)
Episode 1, Season 1

After finishing 'bloodline' series season 1, i decided to watch this series.
After finishing 'bloodline' series season 1, i decided to watch this series. Because seasons have around 10 episodes and episodes are longer than 40 minutes.

Also, i needed some drama.

I will edit here after watching some episodes and i will copy this to episode 1 review.

I hope i can enjoy.

Edit after episode:

It was a nice intro. Different type of series. Eddie saw something and now he suspects. He questions.

I watched this episode around on 27321. . And today i rewatched some parts to remember to able to write something here. I did not notice at first watch cal came to mary's bed. "Lets make better". He meant sex, i am not sure. Then he went to her father to beat him.

The speec was nice. With lights coming to the place.

Aci Sevda
(1972)

Tamer yigit has a different image than I have seen in other movies.
Tamer yigit has a different image than I have seen in other movies. Long hair and darker hair.

The movie starts off well. With the song "Lie world, everything is empty". And showing the old Istanbul. The old steamer, the bridge (galata I think), the maiden's tower, etc.

It was nice to see Ali you and omercik as well.

One of the films that do not have much taboos after 1960. There are also erotic elements.

Suicide scenes, I think Kumkapi. Suburban train, wooden houses and so on. It was nice to see.

It gets a little silly towards the end. There is no drama that he does not live.

"I can't die with you, go now." says the woman.

It was nice to see you Ali, too.

The woman was the only witness that the man did not kill. He didn't want her to testify because it was her last moment. Sorrowful pretty. After all that pain, he will go to jail.

Ali poyrazoglu name is mentioned, but I think he just voiced it.

Director Aykut duz. He has also shot a few erotic comedy movies. I watched the human hunters movie with Cuneyt Arkin.

Sivri Akillilar
(1977)

Zeki wrote the script.
Zeki wrote the script. Another fun movie can be called without swearing, slang :)

We see the distinction between the rich and the poor, the privilege of the rich. With the curtain sitting at the table, the boss wants to remove it because the rich want it. He got up right away, when you said get up.

It turns out to be absurd comedy towards the end, but not bad. They progress and finish the movie with ridiculous coincidences :)

The resort area is pretty good too, and the motel is also very good. People live this life :)

Mavi Esarp
(1971)

It was a 1971 movie. I
It was a 1971 movie. I haven't watched Ediz for a long time. That's why I'm watching. This is the first time I see him with Turkan.

It was not nice for Turkan to hide throughout the movie, by hiding that he was the person who caused the accident, and even when he was going to beloved with ediz.

I thought he was engaged to the doctor for the whole movie. The last time we learn is his cousin. He's a very understanding person and a nice guy too. As far as I understand, he is a close friend at the end. More than a friend. "You should have married Ediz." because he says to him for example.

In the last parts, the songs and folk songs played while traveling on a ship always included the names of the geography of the region they were in. Gallipoli, avsa island, marmara island, sarkoy. So many songs and folk songs were made in the old times. It surprises a little :)

Hayri Caner is in the side role again. Maybe most people after this movie will not be remembered again. After seeing it in this movie, I wanted to learn his name now. I saw it in too many movies because and I didn't know it. He's actually done a lot of work and I think his acting is good too :)

We have the scene of kissing your tears while in the wedding dress. It's a very different scene.

It ends with a pretty bad ending. Pain for all.

There are no bad people in the movie, interestingly. Everybody is fine.

He didn't go to the hospital to stay with Ediz in the middle of the movie. Perhaps he felt remorse for causing the accident, maybe a little dislike. He was already thinking that he wouldn't change if he went, and towards the end he said so to his doctor friend. So he accepted everything.

At the end it plays "without knowing how it went", I think zeki muren. Very emotional.

I wonder what happens afterwards, does Ediz work in the factory? Does Turkan continue his relationship with his family? To comfort both sides ..

Sevgili Dayim
(1977)

Suleyman turan, tarik, neriman, perran, halo all in one :)
Suleyman turan, tarik, neriman, perran, halo all in one :)

The sweet ending is over. Even his father whistled last time :)

I came as Tarik movie. The powdery rosy years and movies that Tariq has not left a mustache yet.

Kadirgali Ali
(1972)

I came as a Serdar gokhan movie.
I came as a Serdar gokhan movie. He was 25 years old, very young. The fact that Kadir Savunma was also in the movie was of course effective. It was nice to see old Istanbul at the beginning of the movie.

It is one of the movies in which Kazim eagle plays a bad role.

Feri laughs very well :)

Yangin var: Eski Istanbul kabadayilari
(1960)

I came as a Ayhan movie and it was filled with a lot of actors that I liked.
I came as a Ayhan movie and it was filled with a lot of actors that I liked. Hulusi, muruvvet, mualla, vahi, turgut, leyla counts, like osman.

The years I loved, too, around 1960.

Some of them were not well known at the time, I guess they wrote their names towards the end :)

Vahi plays the role of the imam. It really pays off for every role.

The movie is 60 years ago. It tells about hundreds of years ago. It's good to see both times.

And things that do not change. Like the moralist neighborhood residents who raided the house of a woman living alone.

Only by seeing from a distance, being affected by correspondence, being held, loving, falling in love.

There is another character in the movie that makes me happy, I researched and learned his name thanks to this movie, Dursune Sirin. I wanted to investigate this person who is also known as 'Baci, who is famous for his character also called Arabian Baci, when I see him in this movie. I wanted to tell him by writing a special paragraph for him so I don't know if he has a voice :) but his voice is very good, he is a good actor. I especially like his movies with Necdet Tosun. There was a little necdet in this movie, too.

A movie full of cries :)

Although there were no deaths, injuries, etc. Throughout the movie, the end was painful. Unexpected last bit.

Kirik Bir Ask Hikayesi
(1981)

It is one of the drama-based movies after the 1980 coup.
It is one of the drama-based movies after the 1980 coup.

Movie-length soundtrack is great. Cahit oben was again called.

The woman comes to the village-town to work as a teacher away from Istanbul. He has an emotional conversation with the retired woman who has been teaching for 23 years. She taught the children, then their children too. "How would I get past that high school, she." She says when she asks why she's not left.

The house is actually a room, it is difficult in terms of comfort but exciting but still a new life, a new place.

There were other films of Kadir with Halil Ergun and Guler Octen. There is also neriman koksal here.

Normally I'm not used to seeing suicides in movies, yesilcam. We see it in this movie, and it's both as a major event.

They came to the hotel room without flirting properly, without hugging and kissing. I don't fully understand those places too :)

While Kadir is engaged, he is secretly doing business from behind. He had to say before things got bigger. Also, she inflicts violence on women.

Nobody sees them while they are wandering so much together in the tiny town.

Of course, the pressure on the neighborhood by the townspeople is also disgusting. Because of the age difference and being a 'single woman', they can travel and talk about it.

It is such a mentality that 2 close friends are in a fist-to-hand fight and then halil ergun bursts into tears.

When she says that she is also burhaniye at the beginning of the movie, she says, "Don't leave, I'm coming". Then I think they showed us the past, the time before that moment. In Burhaniye, when they meet at the place of erol, the woman also has a ring. Obviously married.

"Happiness came and passed by." she says. Very heavy scenes. A movie that is somewhat reminiscent of the saying: "You grow old with what you are next to, you die with what you think."

They showed and left the person whom the painting teacher gave pictures without committing suicide. Who was it, what did he do, what for, things were left in the air.

What happened to the woman he married is not nice. He does not care about him, does not even make friends. It is not his fault either. A little bit because of the families. Kadir does not care about her like that woman.

The person in the role of Aysel was humeyra. I was surprised. I could not recognize it.

Cilali Ibo: Teksas Fatihi
(1972)

I haven't watched feridun for a long time. It is quite a good movie.
I haven't watched feridun for a long time. It is quite a good movie.

The classic polished ibo film. Absurdity, fantasy.

It was a short movie. I think it's cut.

He plays 2 characters again in the movie. He also had 2 characters in another movie. One is mob, one is polished ibo.

This time he is going to a different country, the USA. The film crew as if they had gone in reality. In that respect, it was nice to see these places.

Coming to Texas. Maybe he's taking off his polished ibo hat for the first time. I've never seen it before.

There are also touches of both real and fictional characters such as Capone and Zorro.

I thought he was going to destroy Capone, but he just killed the killer. That's how the movie ended.

It was nice to see Nubar, even if it was short.
