Yellowjackets
(2021)

Season 1: A+. Season 2: C -
Season two was like having a new writer every week that never read the previous episodes. Filler episodes with quick to end storylines. Spend six episodes on one subject then just quickly end it. At first I thought I just wasn't smart enough to follow along then I realized this was just bad writing. I'm fine with just ending it here. Such good writing with first season. Wouldn't mind a Walter and Misti spin-off . Another victim of second season slump. So embarrassed I recommended this for people to watch after season two. I will say the casting and song choices for soundtrack are amazing. Great acting.

DC League of Super-Pets
(2022)

Disappointed
I was so excited for this movie. Kevin Hart was beyond funny in Secret Life of Pets. I assumed this would be even funnier because he was teamed up with The Rock. I laughed two times and they both were at Batman. Also, why did the movie feel the need to put a cuss word in just to bleep it out. My grandkids had to ask me what was wrong in the movie because it happened more than once. In my opinion, this was just another way for a Superhero franchise to branch out and make more money. Create subpar kids movies that will sell no matter how bad they are because they are kids movies.

And the Oscar goes to.....
Austin Butler. He deserves every award during award season. His performance was unbelievable. I was blown away. In fact, the entire cast was spectacular except I did not care for Tom Hanks. I usually love Mr Hanks but this performance felt too slap stick. The only other thing I didn't like about the movie was the "Pulp Fiction" approach with the huge letters flashing across the screen. It through me off guard. If the movie would have been strictly more documentary style, I would have given this movie a 10. .

The Flight Attendant
(2020)

What happened?
I originally rated the first season an 8. After the 3rd episode of season 2, I couldn't watch anymore. It's just plain stupid. I went back and gave it a generous 2.

Wellington Paranormal

Season 3
Season 3 has me laughing out loud by myself. I love this show so much. I never want it to end.

The writing and actors are just perfection. There should be a lot more talk and praise about this show.

The Deep End
(2022)

Confused by the directing
I was so distracted by the way this was shot, I stayed in a state of confusion. In my opinion, a good documentarian stays in the background and observes. This was shot like the characters were placed. Example: 4th episode opening, Blake in the bath tub with camera right above him. Unless there were tiny cameras everywhere. So I'm confused as to how authentic this could be if there were views that were being shot 2 inches from someone's face. If I separate the story from movie, the storyline is very informative and a 10. The director should have had an opening scene explaining how he filmed this and the thought process of doing it this way. That being said, someone needs to make this into a better more authentic movie.

Top Gun: Maverick
(2022)

A nearly perfect movie
Unbelievably good movie. I was blown away and shocked by how great it was. It never felt cheesy. The jets, the acting was great. First time I've enjoyed going to the movies in years.

Yellowstone
(2018)

Might as well stop at Season 4 ep 1
The first 3 seasons I rated this show a 10. This season has been filler and boring. I've hated every minute of it. Also, 1883 has been shoved down our throats so much I have no interest in watching it.

Enemies of the State
(2020)

What a waste
There's several wasted things about this. Viewers time have been wasted. My brain cells were wasted trying to understand this movie. It jumps around, very hard to follow. I believe in conspiracies but this was pretty evident off the bat that Matt was guilty and trying to deflect. You want to feel bad for his parents but I just couldn't. I can't believe E Morris was attached to this project.

I Want to Live!
(1958)

Over acted and hard to follow
Didn't seem to tell the full story. If you didn't know the story of Barbara Graham's part of the murder, you had no idea what these people were arrested for. It skips over parts and was hard to follow and understand. I didn't know Barbara but Susan Hayward's acting seemed very over the top. I did not think it was Oscar worthy.

Mr. Mayor
(2021)

Refreshing!
So tired of reality TV and cop/medical shows. I enjoyed it. Everyone needs to allow a new series to set everything up. Only thing I beg of is to remove Holly Hunter. Does not fit into this show at all.

The Irishman
(2019)

The new generation of actors need to take notes
The acting by this legendary cast blew...me...away. I officially feel old because I turned to my husband and said,"they don't make movies like this anymore and NOBODY acts that well anymore." The only sad thing is, to my knowledge, you can't be nominated for on Oscar on Netflix but oh they should be. Paramount missed out on this one.

Loved
I loved this show and was really sad it ended and never heard why. Anyone?

BH90210

Unbelievable
This was the best "reboot" I've ever seen!!! Priceless! Beautiful tribute to Luke Perry. Whomever thought this type of concept up is brilliant!

Divorce: Charred
(2019)
Episode 1, Season 3

Amnesia?
I felt so lost during this episode. I can't remember how Henry came into the picture. I tried to jog my memory by looking on IMBD and it says he's only on 1 episode. I was so excited for the return of this show. When I saw the review pertaining to the gap I was relieved, thank goodness it wasn't just me. The best part of this show, this season is Church and Shannon.
