Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore
(2022)

Better than the 2nd movie
Although the story is nowhere near as joyous as the first movie in this franchise, fans of HP will love this movie. This should have been the first sequel and the Crimes of Grindelwold should be confined to the vault.

The Lost City
(2022)

Some really funny scenes
The premise was entertaining, the acting a bit cheesy and some great comic timing, but it was a bit to shallow. I found myself focussing on the lips of sandra bullock, far too much botox.

Morbius
(2022)

Promised so much but misses on surprise and delivery
In an effort to cash in on the wider Marvel Universe Morbius could have offered so much. However the story just didn't offer enough to keep me entertained. I found myself trying to work out the locations for filming rather than be engaged in what at times face great action but at others a meander.

Moonfall
(2022)

Fun but some hammy acting
This was a fun movie, a few cliché storylines, but overall a nice way to spend a couple of hours. I was hoping for better acting from Halle Berry, but she just seemed to go through the motions for a paycheque.

John Bradley was refreshing and funny and the rest of the acting was mediocre to good.

Cinderella
(2021)

A Pantomime version of Cinderella
There is some good in this version of Cinderella.

Take it with a pinch of salt and don't take it seriously. It isnt a classic.

Fans of Miss Cabello are going to love this and her acting was OK. She hammed up the role just enough.

There were definitely some miscast roles, but all the actors played this a little tongue in cheek.

This was a live action version of all of the recent animated movies acting as a vehicle for a pop soundtrack.

The writer and the director could have made a much better movie by focussing on some of the other characters like Princess Gwen.

Captain Marvel
(2019)

Slow burn to start but then moves along with pace
Origin stories can be a bit hit and miss in the marvel universe. I went with my daughter to see this overthe weekend, and whilst it's not the best of the MCU movies, it was fun, entertaining, full of action and had a great soundtrack.

I could have lived without the first 20 minutes and they didn't make great use of the acting talent on show.

If you have seen some of the more recent movies, there are no surprises in the storyline as you have been exposed to some of the characters previously.

Just go watch it and be entertained. Marvel for the most part is a feast for the eyes and not challenging to the mind.
