One word: Lame Who would watch this poor Hollywood excuse for entertainment?!? A prime example of how destitute and poor Hollywood has become with ideas, material, and everything else. They had to make a Herbie movie?!? Come on, it is such a silly story not meant to be taken for anything. We should have more movies like Being John Malkovich, or Shawshenk Redemption, or anything else other than remakes, sequels, different renditions, remakes of remakes, special editions, so on. My word for advice: Don't bother with this movie, there are better movies out there like Batman Begins, or War of the Worlds. Go spend your money on quality, not garbage.

Jack Black is a phony, the movie is lame, and so is the acting. the people who made this film were probably rock star wannabe's like i said before, those who can't do something, either teach it, or talk about it or even make a film about it. I bet Jack Black can't follow a simple tune, he's lousy, and so

is his acting. School of Rock is the worst film of 2003, and worse than Gigli which is also another lame film. The directing was bad, script and lines were just as bad and adding to the already crappy

acting of Jack Black. Jack Black is a lame actor, and so as the rest of his sorry excuse films and his work altogether. Anyone who says this film was great is a loser and has a poor sense of humor.
