Jesus of Nazareth
(1977)

Best Movie about Jesus to date
It has been 27 years since this TV mini-series aired. I watch it around Easter time every year. Robert Powell has played the best Jesus to date. Can you imagine how more awesome "The Passion" would have been if Powell played the part again. This movie was very believable.Does anyone know whatever became of Robert Powell? The other cast members played their parts well. I also noticed the good messages that were given that if more people watched it that they would get a better understanding of what God wants us to do. As a Roman Catholic I found this movie to be worth other Catholics to see. It also enhanced my faith since the first time I saw it at 13 years old.

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
(1978)

A good movie for the times
This was a great musical tribute to The Beatles. The Bee Gees and Peter Frampton were influenced by the fab four. Although it was a mismatch of the hard rocker Frampton and the disco kings Bee Gees they did sound good together. They were on top of their game at the time. However it would be the begining of the end for both. Frampton did nothing but flop after that. The Bee Gees had one more top album before breaking up in the 80's. Out of the rest of the cast Aerosmith countinues to be popular today. Who knows maybe someday this movie might coe out of the woodwork and might live again. It is the only moie that you will ever see the late Maurice Gibb in,or Peter Frampton. The end of the movie provided a great ensable of talent of the day.One question:Where was Andy Gibb?
