The Wind in the Willows
(1995)

If Cosgrove Hall hadn't set the bar
I was practically raised on the Cosgrove puppets version of WitW and the bar was set so high with that series, everything else fails in comparison. Solid cartoon and faithful enough adaption.

Ragnarok
(2020)

Happy nonsence
First episode in and I'm not sure if the lack of subtlety is intentional but it's pretty funny. Not sure if I'm getting my mythology mixed up or if I just don't care but the Irish wolfhound with a cataract had me in stitches, pretty sure Cerberus is Greek tho

Santa Clarita Diet
(2017)

This show is brilliant
One of the few comedies that has me laughing aloud the delivery and timing is spot on.

The Umbrella Academy
(2019)

Entertaining but...
...Very predictable, obvious plot twists are obvious long before they happen. Jam packed full of cliches and stereotypes but many of these can be overlooked by the tongue in cheek attitude of the show, some fun action scenes and a pretty banging soundtrack. The decent performances from the cast are perfectly balanced/neutered by some god awful ones. Ellen page is terrible and while I personally hate child actors, #5 is bearable.

A tough one to stick through in a supposed 'golden age' of television but not the worst thing out there.

La casa de papel
(2017)

Started off interesting
Starts off as an interesting heist movie with some interesting characters but quickly becomes a far fetched love story. Cringed during the first episode of season 2 and find it unwatchable now
