Secret Superstar
(2017)

Couldn't believe the gem I found out of simple boredom
On a lazy and hot Sunday afternoon, looking for something to watch I found this amazing film. I'm not really into Bollywood, not even a little bit, so I started watching the film with very low expectations and after 5 minutes into it it gives you the first big punch in the heart, then a laugh, then you cry like a baby and start laughing again, and its like this all the way through till the end. Take my advice, look for this movie, and don't miss out on it. Oh, and if you're the mother of a daughter, please, please, see to together.

Coco
(2017)

Not perfect... just unforgettable.
I've read so many reviews about this film that I can positively say that the one thing missing is the fact that cinema is first and foremost Art, not technology or any other intrinsic part of movie making. Art is emotion and Coco delivers more emotion and heart than some of us can bear, I've had this film stuck in my mind for over a month now and I can't get over it, maybe, just maybe because it didn't actually land in my head but in my heart. So, yes it's not perfect... just unforgettable, and in my book that's the reason of cinema.p

Reconsidering a lot of my own behavior
I was born with a beautiful and powerful voice and have always criticized harshly anyone who dares to perform and charge the the audience when they have no talent, tonight I'm ashamed of my self after watching this bittersweet story, for I did nothing to deserve the precious gift I received, and now I appreciate it more than ever. Meryl as always, great! Hugh Grant, moving and sincere. Music lovers please try finding the more profound meaning of the story. I don't think it's the best performance of Mrs. Streep but I truly now we have raised the bar so much for her due to all her incredible acting that it is becoming quite difficult to top herself. Enjoy this small but entertaining movie and remember their is no limit to what are heart desires and their for what we can achieve.

Trainwreck
(2015)

Did we see the same film?
I'm giving a 10 not only because I think it's a great movie but also because of the lousy reviews posted here that are so over the edge. Watch the movie, it's highly entertaining and funny. Amy has so much talent Im a fan now, when I didn't previously know who she was! Suck it up boys, girls just wanna have fun (too). I've seen a lot of romantic comedies this one is refreshing and surprisingly sure not easy to forget. Mark my words when I say, we are talking about a classic, just what has happen with other films that got crushed and then we're finally appreciated. I Read a lot of the posted reviews, and I've never been so totally against the opinion of the "guys" like this time, like it's not even a real chick flick, why are they so mad? Beats me. So don't take my word on it just go on and laugh for a couple of hours.

Yo soy Betty, la fea
(1999)

I'm a sucker for romance… and for an intelligent plot.
There is just no waist in "Yo soy Betty, la fea", if you like, hate or don't care for Latin American soap operas it doesn't matter, this one will grab your heart, guts and brain.

Witty, and almost always funny, even through the tears.

It's not often you get to see a really intelligent girl in the main roll of a Latin Soap Opera, so when you tune in it knocks you off the chair, you won't be able to turn the TV off, and I assure you, there is just no getting enough of Betty. She becomes so familiar that you wish she succeeds in everything, and the best part is… she does.

If you get a chance, don't let it slip, you'll love it.

Mirada de mujer
(1997)

The greatest off all times!!!
The greatest soap opera off all times!! It doesn't even seem fare to call it a soap opera, realistic, heart shaking, intelligent, and timeless. The plot touches the core of Latin-American customs and prejudice, leaving the viewers with the disagreeable feeling of there own bigotry.

It had such an impact in Mexican society that it was banned in certain more traditional cities and was known to be forbidden by many chauvinistic husbands thru out the country.

It has never been shown complete after the first time (1997-1998), and there have been attempts of "remakes" that simply make the original even more of a master piece. A must have if you can ever get a hand on the non cut version.

La fea más bella
(2006)

The biggest soap opera producers can't get it right!!!!!!
It really sounds stupid, I mean, you buy the trade rights, you know it's been the greatest "telenovela" hit of all times, it's coming out fine … and then, "if it's not broken why fix it?" Good thing about this remake Jaime Camil and Angelica Vale (leading roles) are great, every thing else stinks. And if it wasn't bad enough that TELEVISA made "infomercials" and lousy political statements fit in to the show, now ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡THEY CHANGE THE STORY!!!!!!!! What made the original story be world wide phenomena is that it's flawlessly written, in this "ugly" remake they squeeze in a cute faced actor just to force the story to go on further, and yes of course, make some more $$$$$ while it lasts, doesn't matter if it comes down as out of character and totally unbelievable. How can dumb get dumber? I totally agree with the other comment, SHAME ON YOU TELEVISA.
