Before Midnight
(2013)

Real LOVE from real LIFE
Never in my life saw a movie portraying so masterfully real LOVE...I've never feel so connected to a character than Celine and the main couple relationship ...Wonderful acting work, amazing script, I have no words to express my gratitude for finally seeing something dedicated to me and my stage of LOVE...Long forgotten in movies. MERCI.

Thank GOTT there'll be a part 2
I loved it !!! Hanno and Max did such a WONDERFUL JOB! ...The movie is raw and beautiful and Marc and Kay are gonna stuck with me for a loooong time... There's not much dialogue, but the little there is, is AMAZING! The actors' work is sublime! you can see everything that's going on in their interpretation, you just see it in their faces, their eyes, their hands shacking, their nervous movements....UFFF! I'm in AWE, I can't wait for Part 2!

Pas son genre

It started good, but...meh
It started promising, like how two people from different worlds coming together could be a thing...I even started falling for Jennifer, because she's straight foward and clear and have some ideas that made me think she'll get to Clément...But he remains so arrogant and impassible, like judging everything and everyone from his throne...I believed for a second that he was gonna see something different and special in Jennifer when he loosens up a bit in the karaoke, but then, she confesses she's deeply in love with him (bit intense and out of the blue, in my opinion), then starts freaking out about the relationship and him not loving her back, but using all the clichés for typical paranoid girlfriend, instead of talking seriously to this person about her insecurities... It left a pretty bad taste in my mouth and I don't think this movie added much to my life.

A marvelous ODE to PURSUING your DREAMS and never give up
This movie has all the clichés in the world that I love; lovers under the rain, the developing as a story from the past that someone's telling someone else (in this case, the Opa to his grandson), Cinema Studios post-war and how everything was made back then, the underdog who gets the girl and does all kinds of romantic gestures because he really knows her and understands her (the scenery he creates for her after the "peut-être", the scene in the car with the lightbugs, that he arreanges a whole new movie for LOVE, the fact that she comes back with a fiancé, but he never gives up ...Call me romantic). I think It's brilliantly filmed, Dennis Mojen and Emilia Schüle are wonderful, the soundtrack is beautiful, the scenary, the light, the photography, everything is beautifully staged and the story is so romantic...I really enjoyed every bit of it...I missed one last kiss at the end when day meet again, but it was cute anyway...And of course it's all in German (a language I'm in love with) with a side of French (other language I love) and how that different outbringing enriches their love and not separates them is something I treasure and cherish. I already bought the bluray to rewatch it a thousand times

Call Me by Your Name

Absolutely brilliant and sensible
It's been a while since I last saw a movie that brought to me so many feelings to the surface...It's absolutely beautiful and devastating and beautiful again... There's been even a moment when one of the characters has started crying and I was feeling so inside their skin that I have started crying myself and then it's when I've come to realize that I was genuinely suffering with him... So, that's it! I'm wearing my heart upon my sleeve today courtesy of Elliot and Oliver <3
