The Diplomat
(2023)

Americans as the good guys? Gmafb
The Americans as the good guy pmsl!!

Ok so the acting is great, production etc etc but I'm sick of Netflix making absurd rewrites of history and reality. At one point the American ambassador is overcome with worry about a Muslim family that was murdered in the U. K. as retaliation to a terrorist attack. That the sort of crap is what America does. We had a terrorist attack in Manchester that pretty much targeted children at the Ariana Grande concert. I live in Manchester and the way people reacted was beyond compassionate and the people they blamed were our government and America for the invasions and wars crimes again Arabic and Muslim nations. I honestly can't stand watching shows in which Americans are saviours and heroes. Americans are war criminal and invaders. This was the last straw for me. I will cancelling my subscription.

Fear the Walking Dead: Remember What They Took from You
(2023)
Episode 1, Season 8

Tired regurgitated, boring
I'm guessing the writers were on crack when they wrote the script.

As the episode progresses, it becomes clear that the storyline is convoluted and hard to believe even for a fantasy! The characters, who were once strong and capable, are reduced to pathetic people who make questionable decisions. It's disappointing to see the writers take three great characters and turn them into pathetic shadows of their former selves.

The acting is always good. They did their best with the awful material they were given.

Overall, "Remember What They Took from You" is a disappointing and depressing episode. The writers seem to be grasping at straws, trying to keep the show interesting, but the result is a messy and tired storyline t's hard to ignore the flaws.

The Bubble
(2022)

An absolute gem!!
A stellar cast with amazing performances. Satirical, improvised, warped and surreal! I laughed all the way through. It's a fantastic example of the art of acting. You can just tell how much fun they had filming an incredibly creative film. Why the low scores, I DON'T GET IT!!!!! Also please make Cliff Beasts lol now I just have to go on and on, because apparently I have 227 letters left to write. Fml a horse walks into a bar. The barman says we only serve humans FO. Why did the scarecrow stand in the middle? Because he was outstanding in his field. Wooohooo 36 characters left. Here we go! Love this film.

Mind bender
So I knew I would love it from the go. Within the first 20 minutes. A stunning cast and I'm not talking just about the looks. Great performances from all. I love films where people speak in their native language and not somebody pretending to be said nationality, with an atrocious accent speaking in English as if that's the actual language. Boooo. I kept comparing it to dark which was a mistake. Well not completely but no spoilers here!. In parts it was obvious but mostly it was a mystery that kept you guessing up until the end. Really don't get the bad reviews. I'm guessing some people don't have the brain power for it 😂 wake up.

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: Time's Orphan
(1998)
Episode 24, Season 6

It's the 90s people
Ok let's address people complaining about how backward they are for people living in the future. Well in fact it was The 90s . And that how people behaved in most parts. That was their idea of the future which of course seams backwards to us now.. Every show is a reflection of the time it's created in. That's all guess work. For example in Star Trek discovery, they address gender and pronouns as if in the effing far distant future any of that will be relevant. It's relevant now and so it depicted in the show. Now for the actual episode l. I loved it apart from one thing . NO PARENT WOULD SEND THEOR 18 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER TO A DESOLATE EFFING PLANET BECAUSE SHE IS HAVING AN EFFING TANTRUM but maybe they would have in the 90s LOL.

The Orville: Midnight Blue
(2022)
Episode 8, Season 3

Amazing episode
10/10 Not much to say that hasn't actually been said. I only came here to say angry and scared Americans please stop using the word "woke" your sound so cringe.

The Women
(2008)

Not all things age well...
And this film certainly hasn't. The film centres around classist hate towards woman. It was early days and women were still brainwashed to see one an other as competition and enemies. It's mighty sad that this was written and directed by woman. Obviously of their time. Delusional and missing the mark. Waste of a bunch of incredibly talented women.

Bridgerton
(2020)

To those with no imagination
The fact that most of the low reviews are for the "historical inaccuracy" it is so beyond laughable. To compare this show to a historically accurate drama would the equivalent of saying that the Lord of the Rings is a documentary . One can not fathom the ineptitude of you withering minds. Of course your comatose racism has been jolted awake in your zealous defence of history and accuracy. Ha I say to you ha! History for the most is made of fantastical manipulations by hose who concurred and won the wars. But I digress since that is besides the point. The point is, this is fantasy . It is a genre. Google it.

The Walking Dead: World Beyond: Death and the Dead
(2021)
Episode 9, Season 2

Opinions are like...
Fantastic episode. I got so stressed I had to walk in and out out of the room a couple of times 😂 As for the critics, remember what the say about opinions. People who criticise are just like that. It's a word with a hole in it.

The Luminaries
(2020)

Fantastic
If you don't like it you're probably a man or stupid.

The Wilds
(2020)

Ingaging
Don't watch this if you're a misogynistic troglodyte otherwise you will give it a low score. This is incredibly captivating. At its heart it's a drama about the social issues facing modern day humans. The imposed and Self-imposed trappings we find ourselves in. Illustrated by a group of young woman. I think most people will be able to relate with at least one character regardless of gender. Obviously it's from a female perspective. It's also a triller and a mystery that you are constantly trying to unravel in the same way the protagonist are. For some this will be too "woke" for others not quite enough. For me it was a great story.

Transformers: War for Cybertron
(2020)

Very good
It's actually pretty good. Sets the premise for the next chapter. Some of the reviews and the reasons behind their low scoreS are really stupid.

Don't Look Deeper
(2020)

A very good show
This was very engaging. A very good science-fiction that dealt with some very interesting issues considering how short it was. It absolutely deserves a second season with longer episodes this is great watch it.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power
(2018)

I'd rather believe in this
Than you caveman fairy tails of doom and damnation. The troglodytes that aren't enjoying this are just bitter. This is an amazing wonderful show. For children and adults and all the in between

Penny Dreadful
(2014)

Poetic
Incredibly lyrical and masterful in its ability to tell a story. Creating a visually stunning Landscape that seduces and scares you in equal measures. Some of the best lines I've heard in a series with fantastic performances. Needless to say I loved it.

Runaways
(2017)

Season3!!!
I actually gave it a higher score than previous seasons Season 3 was the best hope they make more!

The Dragon Prince
(2018)

One of my all time favourites
It's just brilliant Incredibly whimsical, fantastical. Mixing old fashion fairy tales with modern social issues . Incredibly inclusive probably the most in any current series. The animation is great. Often informed by anime characteristics . Each season gets better!

The Morning Show
(2019)

Engaging
Incredibly current and relevant. The juxtaposition of the two female leads exploring female relationships the work place and personal ethical stances. This is echoed through out the rest of the characters bringing other topics such as age, power and identity. So far on episode 4 and every time it ends I want more.

Titans: Atonement
(2019)
Episode 9, Season 2

Brutal
Just when you think life can't get worse it goes atomic.

Upgrade
(2018)

I thoroughly enjoyed it
Definitely worth a watch, it's thrilling entertaining and has a dark sense of humour. I really hope they make a sequel with a bigger budget not that this film needed it as it was executed brilliantly .

The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance
(2019)

Magnificent magical madness
Epic moments that leave you with goosebumps Incredibly dark, pretty gross at times but it's also touching and thought provoking. It's definitely trippy it so weird and perfect. And at the same time has a beautiful innocence.

13 Reasons Why
(2017)

So many haters
I gave this a 10 due to the amount of hatred towards this rather fine entreating and watchable show trying to deal with relevant teen and social issues. Not always hitting the bullseye but a hell of a lot more accurate/relevant than 80% of what is out there.

The Rook
(2019)

Blooming great
This has been given a low score by winning people who are comparing it to the books. I haven't read the books And so I'm taking it at face value. It's interesting, clever and has a great British wit to it. People should never compared a tv adaptation to a book and see it as a separate entity altogether. Very watchable and entertaining!

The Boys
(2019)

Bingetastic
Turning the superhero genre on its head absolutely loved it!
