Good for families and fantasy lovers I liked this movie but you have to know something about "Pilgrim's Progress" to fully appreciate the film. Yes, it's low-budget but if you are looking for a movie that your kids can watch that doesn't drop the f-bomb, this is an okay choice. The scenery is beautiful and costuming is pretty darn good for a low budget film. There were some direct references to Bunyan's tale which I liked. Some of the lines were not as strong as they could be, but some of the scenes were very powerful and worthy of some family conversations after the viewing. If you are expecting LOTR, don't. The stories aren't the same.
