I just saw the film and it turned out even better than i was expecting. The complete movie was a near perfect including the story, acting, direction, cinematography and the emotional aspect of the film. The casting was top notch too. This film was put together with much genuine thought, sensitivity and care and reflected quite well with the 1950's era that the film portrayed.. It was a very believable film and presenting the main actors when they are very young and when they are much older was done extremely well. I highly recommend this film. Everything about it felt very genuine. Two Thumbs up.

This beautiful film has it all and done very thoughtfully. The acting is Excellent, the story is well done and informative and it keeps you at the edge of your seat and no dull moment. The young actor Austin Butler outdid himself. I was so impressed. I could and probably will see this movie again while it is still in theatres. This movie is a real treat.

This movie in my opinion was aimed for teeny boppers. It is a total snooze feast and just drags and drags! Not even sure what the synopsis was? It made no sense. All i can tell you is that i wasted bucks and time on this piece of crap! . The earlier Spider Man movies were fairly decent and had a spark to them but i just can't say any nice things about this one. Plus the male star who plays Spiderman was mediocre at best as far as acting is concerned. It was hard picturing him as Spiderman. Two thumbs down, way way down.

Both fine actors, particularly Colin Firth but I must say there was no chemistry between the two men plus little or no humor throughout the film and the dreary music was enough to make you want to jump off a cliff. To make it worse, the movie was just plain boring with no punch. Some pretty scenery but i wanted a more solid film where i felt more connected to the story and characters but the film never delivered. I honestly feel let down.

There are parts to this film that are good but the most enjoyable was watching the Younger Theo....for as young as he is i thought his acting was a Knock Out and his facial expressions are priceless! It's a very long film and a little complicated at times....you need to have patience to try and get thru 2.5 hours of this film.

Overall i enjoyed the film but the best part of the movie is watching Milo Ventigmiglia...think he is a Talented Actor and charming as well. The story is ok but the actress that plays the wife, her perfomance was on the weak side and i believe they could have found a better actress to play the female lead. I believe if the rest of the actors in the film would have been more of a Talent the film would have been much better. LIke i said...Milo carried the film!

I grew up when The Beatles were making great music but didn't believe the movie was very strong in any area including the way the music was portrayed.. You get to hear snippets of various Beatles Songs but they are never played all the way thru. Acting was passable but the plot just didn't mesh with me. This film is no Bohemian Rhapsody or Rocketman. To be honest as i was leaving the theatre i felt an emptyness.....2 hours of time wasted including the bucks.

The music reels you in but the Acting and Story is a Class Act as well. I found out things about Elton John that i wasn't aware of. From the minute the movie begins all the way to the end your never bored! The film flows along beautifully. I truly enjoyed it All Of It! I highly recommend this film.

Please someone tell me....what was the point of this Empty Movie? What a BORE! What was the Point?

I admit i never saw the Original 1970's starring Barbara Streisand but this particular version fell flat. First of all I don't know what the big deal is about Lady Ga Ga's acting....it's not very good. Bradley Cooper's acting isn't bad but he is far from a favorite actor of mine. Lady Ga Ga has obviously captured many of the youth today with her singing style... but it absolutely does nothing for me! There wasn't anything i can honestly say that i enjoyed about this movie. Within 24 to 48 hours it will he History!

I don't confess to being a Christian but i enjoyed this Sequal to Unbroken. The Acting, Story, directing......nearly everthing about this film was entertaining and satisfying. Too bad the film is not doing well at the box office cause it deserves to be a huge hit!

The remake of "Papillon" is one of the best films i've seen in over a decade! Unfortunately it is not getting much Promotion and has left theatres within a few weeks. The film is so well done.....acting is superb, story-line and subject matter very good.....directing is excellent! Every minute of this film is worth watching...infact i have decided to see it one more time. Two Thumbs Up...Way Way UP!

Call Me By Your Name is so beautifully put together! Everything from the Acting & Directing...to the emotional parts that will break your heart to the Cinemotgraphy.....every thread of this film is so delicious! The book is also outstanding. It's the kind of movie where once you see it you have the urge to see it all over again. This well put together coming of age film is one of the best i've ever seen in my life time.

This ridiculous film was unmistakingly one of the worst films i've seen in 30 years! Kate Winslett needs to return to acting school, she just isn't very convincing. Here are these two souls who end up in the snowy, blizzard mountains due to a plane crash and never once did i hear either of them say "I'm cold". They prance thru the snow so easily and of course as time goes on they began to give each other goo goo gah gah looks like teenage heart throbs. It appears it's extremely cold yet they can hardly wait to jump in the sack. I could hardly wait for this Clunker to be finished. PLease do not waste your time on this film....it's absolutely horrible!

Really enjoyed this film! A very well acted and touching Gem of a film. The young lead actress nailed the part and was very convincing and quite good in this movie. I felt the sincerity throughout the film. If your looking for a violent action film from beginning to end I would suggest you pass. But if your looking for a film with lots of heart then i highly recommend this one. Two Thumbs Up....Way Up!

This was one of the worst films i've seen in a long time. The direction was all over the map, i found very little sympathy for the characters, particularly the two young boys. The acting was not very strong. The movie was also way too dramatic and overdone. I'm just not clear what the director was trying to convey exactly? I blame most of the issues with the Director. This is unfortunately a very bad movie and not worth purchasing a ticket for admission. I'm sure this movie will be gone from the theatres very soon. Word of mouth will send this film too Net Flick soon. Wait for a rental and even then i'm not sure this film is even worth a rental. It truly is that bad. Two Thumbs Down....Way, Way Down!

I do like some movies with Jake Gylenhaal but this Clunker got lost on me. The movie wants you to feel sorry for Mr Gylenhaal....but shows very little of the relationship between he and his wife during there years of marriage. Then you have Ms.Naomi Watts who enters into the picture so ridiculously...what a waste of talent that is. She actually looks bored and not really her best acting. By the second half i was giving up with the film with boredom and just not caring about the characters...the direction was all over the place, not sure where it was going to go and i wanted too feel sorry for the main character but i could not. One more issue was Naomi Watts son....he didn't fit in at all and seemed unnecessary for his character to be in the picture Two This is most definitely a Rental Two Thumbs Down..Way Down!

Saw The Jersey Boys last night with a group of 4 friends. We all appeared to enjoy the film and the acting and story was quite good. The only issue we had with this film directed by the great Clint Eastwood is that after Frankie Valli & The 4 Seasons had their string of hits during the early to mid 1960's...by the late 60's the British invasion ruled and their hits became less and for a few years disappeared until 1975 Frankie Valli and The 4 Seasons had a major come-back with "Who Loves You" and "December 63 Oh What a Night"...but in the movie they go from mid to late 1960's to 1990 and skip their big comeback of 1975. I wish that part would have been covered. But all in all it was an enjoyable film.

I was so looking forward to seeing the new Superman installent "Man Of Steel". After viewing it last night i walked out of the theatre with an abundance of disappointment. The movie was an overdose of Sci-Fi special affects that i've seen on more than one occasion over the years. I never felt any love interest between Superman and Lois Lane. Amy Adams was most definitely a miscast. There was no humor throughout the film....far too serious for my liking. The Tornado in this film was so fake! But I will say that Henry Cavill is a fine actor and has much potential but i blame mostly the Director for this really bad film. I loved all of the previous Superman Movies. This is only one that i was not able to truly enjoy. Two Thumbs Down....Way Down!
