Had high-ish hopes for this movie, but boy was I disappointed. What a pile of utter tripe. Who writes this stuff, let alone thinks turning it into a movie is a good idea? Leave it in the bin where it belongs!

As someone who has read the book and enjoyed it (yes really) I was intrigued to see how the movie matched up. It started well, but then quickly deteriorated in what I can only describe as numerous rushed scenes with absolutely no continuity. Many scenes important to the story were simply skipped and some changed completely. All in all the movie isn't a great success and I was left disappointed.

Avoid if you've read the book, you will feel very let down. If you haven't read the book you'll just be left wondering what the heck it was you just watched.

I urge anyone to watch this. Its a little slow to begin with but once the pace quickens its full of surprises. Very imaginative and very well acted.

One is led to think that the impressive cast must have been somewhat desperate to have agreed to work on this bilge. From the poor script to some of the worst filming I've ever seen, this version goes down as the very worst. Agatha must be spinning.

I wonder how many millions of dollars have been spent on appalling made for TV movies such as this one. The performances by the actors, if you can actually call them as such, was as bad as it gets and the script warrants a zero. That's an hour or so I'll never get back and to those considering watching this drivel I have one word, "DON'T"
