All My Sons
(1948)

Trouble maker.
I hated that the former fiancée came back and caused Edward G. to commit suicide. She was annoying.

Ladies Book Club
(2016)

Clean chatter
Loved the interactions of the characters.. could relate to the issues dealt with from all of them.

A Rage in Harlem
(1991)

Great cast
People who have not lived the black experience have no idea what they are experiencing in this movie. The characters are true to form from my black experience growing up in the 50's

Sylvie's Love
(2020)

Sound track of my life
This movie bought back so many memories. The sound track reminded me of my growing up in Philly. Love Tessa and her relationship with the sax player. Very romantic.

The Snoop Sisters
(1972)

Fine as the come.
No finer ladies ever graced the TV. Classy dressers, sophisticated and just charming. Indeed ahead of their time. Numerous guest appearances but the best was their driving skills. Hahahahaha.

Go West, Young Lady
(1941)

What a fight scene
That fight between Ann and Penny was the best cat fight I've seen in a long time. Knowing Ann had back issues later in life had me holding my breath. Glenn was adorably young.

A Majestic Christmas
(2018)

Too long
This was a pleasant movie, but there was too much giggling and it was really too long.

Sister, Sister
(1994)

Went down hill after season 2
Aftrr they added those other characters ur went downhill. The family and Rogervwetebgreat. Those other corney characters didnt measure up to the first 2 seasons. Sherman Hemsley wasgreat as usual. Those high school students, that mall guard yuck.

Route 66: Welcome to the Wedding
(1962)
Episode 8, Season 3

Superb Writing
I loved the Rod Steiger episode.I would have loved to find the dialogue somewhere on line. I wanted to send some of the quotes to a friend of mine. The writing even though a little heavy for the afternoon is always superb.

Hawaii Five-O: A Death in the Family
(1978)
Episode 24, Season 10

Heartbreaking
I was floored when they dumped Chen's body on the steps of the headquarters. Knowing how close Steve was to his men and especially Chen, I knew this was going to be an exciting episode. When they attempted to assassinate Steve I was so out done. This to me was one of the best episodes. I have watched all of them on Netflix and am coming down to the home stretch. I love the scenery of Hawaii and the people emit a sense of loyalty for culture and family. These have been some of the most exciting story lines and I am glad I had an opportunity to be a part of it's viewing audience. I read a lot of the history of Mr. Lords love for the island and the people. He left a major legacy to the institutions and culture of the island.

From This Day Forward
(2012)

Good movie with African American Actors
I really enjoyed watching this movie. Once again the African American actors and actresses don't get a lot of exposure, so it was refreshing to tune into the Uplifting station and see that all night they were featuring four movies involving relationships among African American men and women married and single. I am always impressed by the acting abilities of Leon, so to see him in this feature was a real treat. I love Ms. Payton and loved the way she handled the role of a successful women because we have many women who are handling these roles everyday. Ms. Atkins is so beautiful and it has been a pleasure to watch her grow over the years in various role. I unfortunately totally disliked Ms. Simmons, she was whiny in the role and acted like some too good for you dumb chick, hated what she bought to the role. Could have left her out.

Living Single: Up the Ladder Through the Roof
(1997)
Episode 6, Season 5

Funny throwback
These talented funny men and women had me laughing so hard. How many years has it been since I heard that song. The writers are to be commended for their writing abilities. I love to see all of that blackness on one set. Can't be nor has been duplicated.I live in Philly and we love that Ms. Alexander honed her talent at our own Freedom Theater. These guys communicate with each other without all the cursing, lewdness, sexual overtones like other shows. I have never been disappointed when I sit down to watch any of the living single episodes, but this one really hit home. I will continue to watch this show until they run out of episodes.

Happiness Is a Warm Blanket Charlie Brown
(2011)

Mean spirited
The lucy charactr was mean and rude. At some point the rudeness of the characters made me put the show on mute. We are living in a mean spirited age where writers think its okay to speak like this. If Mr. Schultz was living he wouldn't approve. I hope my granddaughter wasn't watching. In the past the characters seemed to Show a sense of concern and caring.for the producers to make this a hour long show was staggering. Thank you the characters remained in tack. I guess because of the copy right rstrictions nothing could be done to change this. I did get a feeling by the nature of the voices that this was an updatesbversion and when insaw 2011 i knew something was amiss. Even my oldest grand said she didn't care for this version. Please don't mess with perfection.
