Escape: Human Cargo
(1998)

Pretty good!
My husband knows how much I like Treat Williams, and found this videotape at a flea market for 2 bucks, and he came home with it and we watched it, and both of us actually really liked it! It was a lot better then I thought it would be.

Drama mixed with a little humor, Treat plays John MacDonald, who goes to Saudi Arabia to get the project-construction deal, and keeps getting let down or ticked off about it while he is there..well, after being there for so long, and things not going the way he planned, he tries to leave, but can't, because of their laws, it is up to the Shiek to let him have his passport back, which he refuses, so after trying again to do right by making this housing project, he gets duped again, and decided with a help of an American friend he met there, they decide to put him in a cargo box to get him home on a plane...

This is based on a true story, and was actually pretty interesting.

Hair
(1979)

What a fun movie!
This was one of my favorite musicals, so free, so sweet, and just plain fun! I was only 14 when I first saw this movie in the theater in 1979, and just recently bought the DVD, and now my 15 year old and my 10 year old love it! the music is wonderful, the actors, I even thought sang great, Treat Williams was fabulous as the leader of the tribe, Berger, and his scene with him dancing on the table singing "I Got Life" was one of the best scenes in it, sure there is a few butt and boob scenes, nothing X-rated, no sex scenes or anything, but aside from that and me telling the girls to close their eyes, they keep watching this movie over and over and over.

But this movie made me want to see Treat Williams in almost everything, he was charming, and brilliant, as was the rest of the cast, Beverly singing "Good Morning Sunshine" was also really good, and Cheryl Barnes rendition of "Easy to be Hard" was beautiful, it is too bad she stopped acting after this movie, she was very talented, yet just wasn't interested in being in any more movies.. and she was actually a hotel maid while she auditioned for this role! I recommend to anyone who is a fan of the 60's and just want to watch something fun! I remember when I was 14 and watching, the face of Treat Williams as Berger getting on that plane singing his part of "I believe in Claude, that's me" stuck with me for a long time! it still makes me bawl, I will never forget his face getting on that plane. Makes my heart beat faster each time I see that scene..And from what I read, the part where John Savage is running to the plane, and saying "Berger"...as we see the plane in the air, is actually Treat Williams flying that plane, as they had no other pilot on the set that day, and Treat has a pilot's license. :)

Sure, it was weird the first couple times I seen it, but for some reason, I still loved it..and still do!
