Savannah
(2013)

A laid-back movie
Let me tell you one thing. Watching this movie will not be a waste of your time. This movie explores the friendship between a white man and a black man. It's a beautifully made movie with gorgeous settings, humorous lines(at times), splendid acting and overall a great theme. Although I do feel that the relationship between Ward and Lucy gets in the way of the friendship between Ward and Christmas. I think they should've focused on that friendship from A to Z because it feels as though the movie is too crowded. Not much development or exploration between Ward and Christmas. The relationship between Ward and Lucy on the other hand, I find it very cliché. The good girl falls for the bad guy. They get married, she becomes pregnant and something dramatic happens along the way.

But overall, i enjoyed watching this movie. I'm sure you won't regret watching it. You won't be complaining and cursing about wasting your 1.5 hours.

Dark Circles
(2013)

This is pretty decent.
To be honest, I actually thought this movie would be one of those crappy ones. You know how the movie posters are these days. They don't portray a single bit from the movie. Just total crap. But anyway, the poster for this movie didn't say much but still I was willing to sacrifice my time and my eyesight to watch it. Just because. Like I said, it's actually pretty decent. The plot is there. You can connect the dots. The actor did a pretty good job. They are some scary bits but not over the top. The scary bits are quite predictable to be honest. But still I watched it with a blanket covering half of my face. There are some funny bits as well with the babysitter. Halfway watching you might be confused. There might be tons of questions in your head. Like for example, whether the ghost is actually a ghost? What's her story? Who buys a house in the middle of nowhere? (Although every horror movie starts with the purchase of a house in the middle of nowhere) Why can't you just move out if you're feeling depressed being in that house? Why isn't anyone going to work? But towards the end, some of your questions will be answered. All in all, this movie has the screams, blood, ghost, haunted house and craziness. Last time I checked, all of those are the essence of a horror movie. If you want to watch it, you won't be extremely disappointed. If you don't want to watch it, you're not missing anything.

Don't even bother watching
if you want to watch this movie, just know that you wouldn't get back the 1.30 hours of your life. this movie is just plain awful. terrible actors. predictable story line. i mean the guy and girl could've driven off or hit the so-called serial killer but instead took the time stop and look at him and basically waiting for him to swing his jackhammer at them! one thing i don't get is this. they say those who enter the woods will never get out. many people had gone missing. a serial killer lurks in the woods waiting for his victims. but why don't the authority or just someone finds this man and bring him to justice? i cannot unseen what i've seen.

waste of time
i thought this movie would be a good one. but man, was i disappointed after watching it. actually the movie started out well. but after a while it got terrible. i almost stopped watching but continued anyway hoping something interesting might happen. but again, i was wrong. after i was done watching it, i still didn't get what this movie was about. what was it that it's trying to depict? bond between sisters? mental health? anorexia? it seems as if every character are a bunch of crazy lunatics. some are crazier that others. which is which i can't seem to tell. this movie could've gone better. as i said it started well. but there were too many twists and turns. it certainly didn't deserve the 6.5 rating.
