Person of Interest
(2011)

Watched it all again
I just rewatched all the seasons again. I remembered this as a very well acted and for the most part well written series. I was not disappointed.

The premise, the characters, the ebb and flow of the story arc makes this well worth the time.

The ending ... well, it wasn't all bad - and I suppose we should all be grateful for a show that actually has both a beginning and an end, not just an abrupt stop it is cancelled.

I won't spoil any details - just let the show envelop you in a nice, enduring feeling of entertainment and enjoy!

Survive the Game
(2021)

What was this?!?
This was so awful. From the casting to the acting, the fight scenes, the car chases and the dialogue.

I can't remember when I last saw something so bad!!!

Nobody
(2021)

Good old action
It was very refreshing with a good old action classic and no frills and politically correct statements.

I enjoyed this movie from start to finish and loved some of the dialogue and quirks. Were they all surprises and well tlmed twists? No. But even being quite predictable they were well delivered and on point.

I'll be lining up for the sequel.

Pointless
Decent acting, technical details solid (I'm a frequent flyer and have spent some time in a cockpit) - but the story is not enough for more than a very short movie, definitely not enough for an hour and a half. This could have been a decent hi-jacking scene in a movie that actually had a plot.

The Undoing
(2020)

Unbelievably bad!
Terribly bad story, lousy dialogue and paper thin characters. Waste of time!

The Last Full Measure
(2019)

I'm not crying. You're crying!
Very touching story in all it's simplicity. Very well acted by some great actors.

Chernobyl
(2019)

Where is the eleven?
I am pressing AZ-5 on the rating system here. There is no way a 10/10 is enough to describe this mini-series. It was the most gripping television I have ever experienced and this is from someone who barely reacted to it in 1986 when I was just turning 18 and had so many other things on my mind.

After watching this, and only now knowing that the entire world was on the brink of disaster, and now just a measly 100 years away from the next need to contain Chernobyl 4, I am still pro-nuclear. I am however anti-lying, anti-bullying by our governments wishing to keep lying and anti-idiots rising in power for their brownnosing competence and real men and women with competence being passed over.

Altitude
(2017)

What. The. Hell.
As I am writing this, Altitude has a 7.3 rating on IMDb. Either there is a database error or an army of trolls has been up-voting this movie for some reason.

It. was. bad.

So bad.

Dolph Lundgren should have been a clue. But the rating fooled me.

I cannot even begin to recount all the stupid things in the script, and I wonder if the writers have even been on a plane. Just the fact that Denise Richards character angrily yells at a passenger that he is in her seat. "My ticket says 44A". And he is in the window seat to the right of the aisle ...

Anyway. To sum up. Do not watch this movie. Unless you enjoy crap.
