I usually don't comment, but I was compelled to after experiencing this depravity.

But still, I have trouble finding the words. A cringe-worthy blackface performance by Dan Dailey and the sub-standard Shirley Temple doppelganger Shari Robinson are two prime reasons to stay far away. I was surprised to see Anne Baxter connected to this mess, but (no spoilers) at the end, when she "joins in" -- (you know what I mean if you've had the displeasure of viewing this filth) -- I abandoned all hope. Not to mention a certain dance number on a certain ship. Not to be believed, brother.

And I DO mean brother.

Don't make the same soul-crushing decision as I did, and partake in this insensitive racist steaming pile of dung. Yeesh.

I know we're required to do 600 characters here, and this turkey is such an abomination I am loathe to write ANYTHING about it, even in torching it, but that over 7 rating has got to be some sort of pumped up garbage tactic, so I wanted to do my part in spreading the truth. This "film" is a non-sensical farce from beginning to end. Horrible lazy acting, misogynistic themes throughout (including wanton animal violence on a donkey they WANT you to know is female) and there is basically no plot. What "story" there is goes on WAY too long, and by the time it is all over, you WILL feel cheated and confused. Cannes my big toe. Watch this trash at your own peril.

Haters gonna hate...because they have small minds and unhappy lives, clearly incapable of enjoying escapism entertainment. Simply put, if you're a fan of JP/JW, you'll love it. If you're not, why would you watch it in the first place? Shows the level of intelligence right there.

It's a good time. Do yourself a favor and check it out. You won't be disappointed.

To my fellow cook show fan friends who have had the misfortune of stumbling onto this show -- I scoured the 'net to find ANY comment on the fact that this show neglects the fundamental practice of providing the amounts of the ingredients. I found ONE review, and that commentary was sort of related to the book, so I would be remiss to not leave one. It is beyond inane to have a cooking show with such a vague, nonsensical aspect. My wife and I were happy to find what we thought was a fresh, innovative show, and were totally disappointed by this ignorant drivel. It's been on for SIX years...and NO ONE has noticed this? WTF?

Ridiculous GARBAGE!

Do not waste your time like I did...didn't even want to waste time writing a review, but felt I had to warn off unsuspecting viewers. Couldn't even make it past episode two. Booooring and pointless. Stay FAR away! WTF was it even?

I fortunately saw this dumpster fire for free, and it was still too huge of a price to pay for this debacle. I don't want to spend a lot of time on this review, as I've already wasted enough time on this title...suffice it to say, it was straight garbage. You can dismiss my warning and watch for yourself, but the plot holes you can drive a truck through and ridiculous story overall along with many unanswered questions will make your head spin. Shame on you Marques Houston and Chris Stokes! Don't quit your day jobs. AVOID THIS "MOVIE!" It's horrible!

That's all the time I needed to figure out this film was straight GARBAGE. Believe the bad reviews, of which there are plenty...for good reason.

It is incomprehensible and unnecessarily complex in wayyy too many instances too numerous to name. I don't care how many times you watch it. Once is enough. Once is enough. Had to turn it off. Do yourself a favor and skip this nonsensical debauchle. Yeesh.
