I had my doubts about this show at first due to the tone of cartoons of this generation. But when i decided to watch the first episodes, i loved it forgive me for being sceptical earlier on. This show is like a mix of the 1908s cartoons and the 2003 series. It had action, comedy, drama all rolled up into one. This will get you laughing in stitches or have you at the edge of you seats! This cartoon really brings back that nostalgic feeling. It's the type of cartoon for fans of all-ages, both old and new. Each episode will leave toy wanting more and more and it got me actually interested in the comics, when i never read a TMNT comic before in my life!! Highly recommend this show for anyone who is a TMNT fan!

This show portrays spider-man as an incompetent imbecile who lacks responsibility and it also undermine his intelligence and independence such as inventing his own web shooters instead of using S.H.I.E.L.D's custom made or dependent where he works with a superhero team all the time, whilst he usually a solo act, although he occasionally team up with other heroes. Marvel DNA? more like Disney DNA, although Disney did produce cartoons like the Gargoyles or Kim possible.

The producers of this show just throw in other superheroes and villains from other comics to the show like pretty without any depth or character development. This is pretty awful for me and breaking the 4th wall is just trying to hard to be fun as it is done wrong, therefore the show as a whole? SUCKS!!

When i first watch spectacular Spider-man, i was skeptical because of the character designs not the animation. However i decided not to judge a book by it's cover and went ahead and watch it and it was the best animated adaption since the 90s. Each episode was better and better and kept waiting to watch the next episode.

This series really did live up to its name and it is truly SPECTACULAR!! Anyone who says otherwise is their opinion and it is not the truth. This show had a perfect balance of Comedy, Drama and Action along with responsibility & morality, the elements of spider-man's life as a hero and a civilian.
