Richie is definitely Nivin Pauly's ambitious project but acting in a remaked film was a bad choice. Rakshit shetty(director/actor/writer) of ulidavaru kandante(Kannada version) has done a marvelous work in terms of everything. We do go with high expectations because its original work was excellent and we do expect this tamil version to repeat the same. while ulidavaru kandante was a anthology neo-noir crime-drama film but this tamil version misses a lot of it.

Positives- 1.) Zaira Wasim- Acting was superb 👍 2.) Aamir Khan- His comedy role was good and funny. Few good comedies here and there and his role was a comic relief in this highly melodramatic film.😂😂 3.) Meher vij( mom) , Raj Arjun(dad) , kabir(young brother) and tirth (boyfriend)- All were excellent and their acting was in par with Zaira's acting. Raj Arjun's Serious role as angry father is definitely one of the best performance he has done and he needs to applauded for that. Meher Vij as innocent mother gave her natural performance in this film (her emotional performance was superb).

Negatives- 1.) Advaith Chandan (director and script writer)- His script was full of dramatic dialogues but thanks to those actors whose natural performance didn't show any sign of it. His vision about this movie was completely filled with sentimental clichés trying to make people cry (Just like tubelight). But luckily it wasn't as bad as Tubelight because tubelight was king of melodrama. His casting of actors was perfect and relief for the audience otherwise my rating would have gone below 2.5.

2.)Climax- Film had few good scenes here and there and towards the end i was expecting a good ending and it was almost going to the right track when suddenly they shifted to the highly melodramatic track where it reminded me of 90's Bollywood climax .

3.)Length of the film

Overall- I was disappointed because i heard good reviews and people were giving 4 stars and i though it will be a good film.(Some critics said that it was the one of the best Bollywood film of 2017) But my opinion is going to be exact opposite of it. Those who love highly melodramatic films can go for it. Others please stay away and wait for its DVD print. (Watch it only for the best performances of the cast) My rating- 2.5/5

POSITIVES - 1.) DQ's cameo was worth it and will leave you with tears.

2.) 2 child actors were excellent.

3.) Shane Nigam gets a crispy role and he shines with his performance.

4.) Siddique as usual has done his father role well with expression of emotions on the raw side.(without any doubt he proves that he is one of the best actors in Indian cinema) 5.) Cinematography was top notch and will keep you engrossed in to the scenes.

6.)Editing was raw and crispy.

7.)Direction story and script by Soubin is undoubtedly the best and his imaginations to create every scenes creatively and adding rawness to the scenes makes this film a must watch. Using birds in the story and creating emotions with it is an appreciable idea. As a story-writer to he succeeded by creating varied characters with painful pasts and present, bittersweet realities of the region and its portraits of friendships.

8.)Songs and BG score by Rex Vijayan is worth mentioning. His BG score goes well with the flow of the scenes and his songs suit the movie well.

Negatives - 1.) Duration- Duration was bit long and at times we can feel lag in the scenes.

Overall-

With 8 positives and 1 negative you can figure it out how good the movie is. Everyone should go and watch this movie in theaters because its worth it. We need more movies like this and hoping for Soubin to continue with his direction.(By the way his villain role with Sreenath Bhasi was amazing) My rating - 4.3/5

MY OPINION: Sidharth Bharathan's third film Varnyathil Aashanka will not disappoint audience as it has an engaging storyline and its second half is full of interesting elements which makes this heist film an engaging and thought provoking one. This film mocks at our society and at last it points out the biggest thief in our society in a witty full manner. First half was a letdown and boring but things got straightened up after interval and Suraj's performance was superb.

As the title suggests full movie is like Tubelight. It tests your patience and they could have reduced 40 min to make it "atleast watchable". This is a torture from kabir khan and salman khan. Everyone before the release was like "tubelight will break Bahubali's collection"

But after the release after hearing initial reports producers reaction be like -

"Hope at least it will get more than bahubali actor's salary"

1.)Salman khans innocent and childish acting. He has that cute charmness on his face and i really loved his performance. (Only thing which can make you glued to the screen)

2.)Shahrukhan's cameo. His presence and combo scenes with salman was good.(celebration for both the fans)

rest all are negatives and gives viewers a big headache.

My rating- 3.5/5(Good) Positives- 1.)Story - Story was good and it was emotional. It succeeded in bringing out emotions but director failed to interpret it. Direction by J.A.Bayona wasn't that great and if his direction was good than it could have worked out properly. Because of his limited imagination even the story telling gets affected and it makes the film in a kidish zone. There were minor flaws but it got summed up and became a major flaw. My rating got increased is only because of its story and actors performance.

2.)Lewis and Jones- Lewis succeeded in portraying as frustrated Conor who's having hopes for his mothers recovery and i really loved his performance. All his emotional scenes were maturely handled and it looked natural. Jones as Mother acted wonderful who wishes to live for 100 years. Jones character who suffers from terminal illness and all her hopes and emotions were smoothly portrayed by her.

3.)Visual effects- Visual effects is the main component of this film. Vfx Team needs applause as they did it without any flaws and they didn't give us any cheesy feel throughout this film.

1.)Direction,script and story- Lijo's Visualization of gangster life and lower class lifestyle was excellent. His direction style reminded me of Anurag kashyap's style of film making. It is also inspired from gangs of wasseypur which is one of the rawest films in Bollywood. In short Lijo tried to make kerala version of gangs of wasseypur. His movies like amen and double barrel disappointed me but with this movie he came back with full power and energy. Script and story which is by chemban vinod needs to be applauded. Each and every characters created by Chemban are with grey shades and these characters stay in our mind for so long. Its narration pattern also needs to be appreciated. Chemban and lijo tried their best in making it raw and crisp and we can see that through this film and yes it worked out well.

2.)Antony Varghese and rest of all cast- Antony as Vincent Pepe portrayed his role without any flaws. As a debut actor he didn't show any flaws and he had all those conventional looks of a normal Malayalam hero and definitely he has a great future. Rest all actors (sorry i don't know the names) were all good and did justice to their roles. But the guy who played the villain was outstanding. He looked skinny and was perfect for local goon. So in short casting team needs to be appreciated.

3)Music and Background score- Music and background score by Prashant Pillai helped in giving life to the movie. His unconventional music along with fresh tunes were really good and enjoyable. Especially the local songs of Angamaly. Music and background score gave us feel of anagamaly and i really loved it.

4.)Cinematography- Cinematography by Girish was superb. Each scenes captured by him showed the real life and culture of Angamali and it gave us the feel of Angamaly.

Overall- To sum it up its one of the honest attempt of Lijo and Chemban and they both succeeded in showing the local side of Angamaly by adding rawness to its making and giving us Malayalam version of Gangs of Wasseypur.

Positives- 1.)Direction, script and story- One of the most important thing which i liked from this movie was Denis's direction. It was outstanding and explained a variety concept in an interesting way. Story which is adapted from a short story was mind blowing because of its story structure. Script had interesting elements in it and it was narrated in a non-linear pattern which sometimes might complicate the entire film but superb direction saved it.

2.)Amy Adams and Jeremy - Amy is the central protagonist and she acted well without any flaws. In short she was a showstealer and she succeeded in portraying her character. Jeremy didn't have any challenging role but he was one of the main characters and did his part well.

3.) Background score- Outstanding and marvelous background score. Its one of the main component of the movie and it really helps the narration to get feel. Viewers are able to feel the characters only because of its soothing background score. I am happy that it got nominated but it should have won because it deserves it.

4.)Vfx and cinematography- Vfx was too good and it helped in giving mind blowing visuals on screen. Cinematography was equally good.

5.)Variety Sci-Fi movie Negatives- 1.) Complicated narration- Narration was complicated at it will take time for people to understand. Only after discussing you will realize the entire plot clearly because it was too complicated and they could have reduced its complicated narration.

Overall- To sum it up its one of the best Sci-Fi movie i have ever seen. It took me time to digest the whole plot but then after sometime i understood everything. Those who say bad about this movie might not have understood its concept. So don't judge this movie so fast as it can affect others enjoyment. So arrival was special to me and i really enjoyed it.

Positives-

1.) Direction , script and story- Direction was good and never bored the audience. Kenneth (director) Utilized each actors capability and it helped the movie being engaging and never boring. It might bore some depends on your taste but true movie lovers wont get bored. Script which is also written by him was also good and succeeded in giving realistic touch to the dialogues. Story was an emotional one and i personally loved it. Especially Casey's character which was having emotional background and narrated in a non-linear pattern suited the movie well with help of amazing direction and script.

2.)Casey Affleck and Lucas hedges- Casey Affleck was outstanding and his performance was realistic. Emotions which he portrayed was too good and never showed any flaws in his performance. Lucas performed well and was apt to the character.

1.) Duration- Duration could have been reduced because it was too slow and might bore the audience at some scenes. I agree it was slow paced narration and it was required for this movie but makers were slowing it even for unwanted scenes which wasn't necessary .

Positives- 1.)Direction, Script and story- Director did justice in giving us amazing movie which is based on true incident. Narrative pattern in the story is something which never bores us and keeps us engaged till the end. Script had good dialogues which helped in making this movie powerful.

2.)Dev patel and sunny pawar- Dev patel as usual does his performance neatly without any flaws. Sunny Pawars acting was top notch. He did justice to his role and i really loved his performance. His realistic performance keeps us glued to the screen.

3.)Bgscore 4.)Cinematography Negatives- 1.)Slow moving at some scenes 2.)Director could have detailed problems of Saroo and that part director missed it out. It was quite fast and they didn't explain much of hurdles Saroo faces while finding his home in India. That was necessary and director could have checked on that problem.

Overall- Its a gripping and compelling movie with powerful story to its credit. Yes its must watch one and don't miss this flick.

Positives- 1.) Direction , script and story- Director succeed in capturing the characters emotions and loneliness. He gave this full film a documentary feel and he takes us to the Chirons (protagonists) life and showing us different emotion layers of each character. He took in variety format with realistic film making which needs to be appreciated. Story was also good and it may not attract you because its approach is more like documentation of a person. Story gives attention to all those sensitive feelings of the character and that makes us feel sympathy for Chiron (protagonist). Script had realistic dialogues and it gave feel to this movie.

2.) All those 3 actors who played chiron's different stages of his life, Chirons friend, Mahershala Ali- All these actors gave justice to their roles and especially Mahershala who had minimal screen time but his performance was excellent. I don't know the names of these 3 actors who played chirons life but all these 3 actors were apt for the role. Same as well for the actor who played Chiron's friend. Rest all actors also performed well.

Negatives- 1.) Slow paced movie- Duration could have been reduced because it was boring the audience. If they could have made it short then it would have been better.

Overall- This movie deals with different Genre which may not appeal to common audience but definitely its a treat for film lovers. It shows us the loneliness of a boy and where it takes him to with great narration technique. Yes Moonlight sheds its light on a loneliness boys life and it has open ended climax which makes us think about the characters while leaving the theater hall.

Positives- 1.) Direction and story- Director (jay) took the film to next level and we have never seen this type of horror movies in Mollywood. He directed in a Hollywood style which keeps us mesmerized till the end and we doubt whether we saw a Malayalam movie or English movie. Directors like him should enter our industry and great applause to him. Story was variety and the smart part of it is that it was based on the Jewish concepts which are new to us and we may easily believe it while seeing the movie. This is a good try for a horror movie and we never felt any clichés because its story is something new to us and creating horror in it is something which upcoming directors should learn while making this genre films.

2.) Prithviraj ,Priya Anand ,Tovino and Sujith Sankar- For Prithviraj and Priya it wasn't a challenging role but they have done good performance. Tovino didn't have much screen time but he did well as police officer. Sujith Sankar has done it with ease and i really liked his performance.

3.)Cinematography- Cinematography took the film to the Hollywood level and great applause to Sujith Vasudev. His angles and certain camera technique was unique and never seen in Mollywood horror movies. His techniques succeeded in creating horror feel.

4.)Sound , edits and effects- I liked the sound effects because it also succeeded in giving feel to audience. Edits and effects were also equally great. [ To get great experience its must watch movie in theater] 5.) Songs and bgscore- I loved all songs and last 2 songs succeeded in giving haunting effect to visuals. Bg score was also great.

Negatives- 1.)Climax and ending- Climax disappointed me and ending was a let down. They should have ended smartly with a smart climax instead it was clichéd. I could see the struggle towards the end in the story line but makers could have improvised it.

2.)Prithviraj's ghost appearance- Wasn't scary at all. It looked really funny. Something could have been done to make it scarier to his role.

3.) Horror thrills- Even though cinematography and sound effects were giving horror feel the scenes didn't give any jump scares and it went normally. They should have added a lot of jump scares.

Overall- Its a must watch movie in theatres to get the feel and after pulimurgan this movie is one of the best technical perfect film. Go for it and it will be a treat for you if you are horror fan and if you are not also you will enjoy because it suits all types of audience.

"Logan is emotional and at the same time brutally violent. It will be a treat for you if you are fan of x men series" My rating- 3.5/5

Positives- 1.)Direction and story- Direction by James Mangold was good . Director takes us to the emotional side of logan and i personally liked it. Story also succeeded in doing the same.

2.)Hugh jackman , Dafnee Keen (laura/X-23)- Hugh Jackman's acting was phenomenal and he succeeded in bringing out emotions of logan character. Dafnee as laura was outstanding and she acted like a matured girl. I liked her crying scenes because that was totally realistic and also her angry scenes as well with her special scary looks. In short she was apt for the character.

3.)Cinematography 4.)Bgscore Negatives- 1.)Too much of violence - Violence is too much and they could have reduced it. This is the reason why this movie got R rated.

Overall- If you are Xmen series fan then you will love it and ending can also make you cry because its really emotional and you will understand when you watch it. If you haven't watched any of the Xmen series then you wont understand this movie so watch Xmen seires and then go for this.

Its one of the best movie's of 2017 with complete proper mixture of emotions and moral message to youth and family My rating- 4/5

Positives- 1.)Mohanlal (4/5), Meena(3.8/5) and Aima sebastin (4/5)- Mohanlal was the perfect choice and he does his role smoothly. Meena is best combo with mohanlal and here also works out well. Aima's role was good and she does it without any problems. And rest of the cast didn't disappoint me but sharaffudin's character couldn't bring any comedy to the screen and makers didn't utilize him and that disappointed me.

2.)Direction( 4.3/5),Script(4.4/5) and story (4.5/5)- Direction went smooth from Jibu Jacob. He once again proved like his previous movie(vellimoonga). His direction didn't bore the audience and he also succeeded in making emotional scenes effective also those few thrill scenes were rightly made.

Script by Sindhuraj was excellent and he succeeded in adding comedy to this emotional family drama. He also succeeded in not boring the audience and he surprised me because his last few outings weren't that great. Story was also good and thought provoking.

Overall- This movie surprised me a lot because its overall packaging was excellent and it was a moving movie without any lag scenes. Its a perfect family movie and please do watch it.

"Overall execution helped in making this movie excellent revenge drama" My rating- 4.3/5

Positives- 1.)Direction (4.3/5) , Script(4.5/5) and story (4/5)- Sanjay gupta (director) suceeded in making this movie interesting without boring audience. Even though it had an old revenge idea theme ,makers managed to add interesting elements into it. Script was superb and i really liked it. Story looked old if one checks its theme but execution was outstanding and it succeeded in providing thrill.

2.) Hrithik roshan (4.8/5), Yami gautham (4.3/5) and Ronith (4.5/5)- Hrithik succeeded in acting like blind man and it really looked realistic. He was able to provide seriousness and all emotions at right place. Yami also done her part well as blind lady. Ronit was outstanding as villain and he was able to bring all those villianish mannersims in his role.

Positives- 1.) Direction(3.5/5), story(3/5) and screenplay (3.3/5)- Subhash kapoor's attempt was good and he managed to engage the audience with his interesting screenplay and direction. There was nothing new or amazing factor in this story.

2.)Akshay kumar (4/5), Huma qureshi(3/5), Annu kapoor(3.5/5) and saurabh shukla(3.3/5)- All these actors did their part well. But akshay kumar's performance was outstanding and he was capable of providing all emotions at right places in a convincing manner. Huma qureshi as akshays wife was good and she succeeded in being akshay's supportive wife. Annu Kapoor as mathur was also good and convincing. Saurabh shukla was hilarious as judge.

No, i wont say its a must watch watch movie because there are so many loopholes in the script and not may be convincing to all types of audience. If you keep yours expectations aside then you will enjoy this movie.

Overall- Watch this movie for akshay's performance and subhash kapoor's attempt. Its just a watchable movie and nothing great in it. There are many good jokes in this movie and it succeeded in being an entertainer but certain loopholes were there in this court drama and makers could have removed it if they were careful.

Positives- 1.)Dulquer,Anupama,Innocent,Mukesh and Aishwarya- (3.3/5)- Dulquer's performance was just good and nothing marvelous in it. Anupamas role was short but she did good. Innocent was great and mukesh was just OK. Aishwarya was also good.

2.)Songs - (3.3/5) Negatives- 1.)Direction,screenplay and story- (2/5) Direction got messed up and story had nothing new and it looked copy of jacobinte swargarajyam. Screenplay failed to give seriousness in required areas. Plot had less novel elements to the credit and this is one of the main drawbacks. And no logic in some areas and disturbed the experience.

2.)Shot in thrissur but none of the main actors had thrissur slang while delivering dialogues Overall- Its a clichéd movie and really disappointment me. I heard in recent interview of director that director forgot to say cut while seeing dulquer's emotional performance but i didn't see any such scene like that. Overall just watch it for dulquer and nothing new in this movie and it may disappoint some audience.

1.)Direction and screenplay- Direction was good and director succeeded in fusing correct elements required for this movie. Screenplay was equally good but story was little used and old and this brings slightly downfall to this movie.

2.)Srk , Nawazuddin and Mahira - Srk as usual did his role neatly. Mahira as the female lead didn't have any trouble and succeeded in bringing charm to her character. Nawazuddin was also good but not his career best performance. Same for srk as well. These two actors had potential but the screenplay didn't allow them. Srk i can understand but screenplay could have given nawazuddin chance to show his talent. This role looked like as if it wasn't written for him. He didn't do bad and i wont blame him but scriptwriter could have taken little notice on this.

I don't recommend it as must movie because this movie may not suit all types of audience.

"A film which has all ingredients for a thriller movie making it a must watch film for everyone"

Positives-

1.)Direction,script and story- Outstanding direction. Movie becomes a variety thriller only because of Ravikanths direction. He fuses flashback in present scenes at right places making it a non linear film. I don't know if its a directors idea or scriptwriters idea but the mixing was one of the main thing i found it as amazing in this thriller film which made us excited at certain scenes. Story was an ordinary one and it comes to the point nearing to end. In start and middle the movie was slightly lagging with clichéd scenes but that doesn't matter much because of direction and script. Script was superb and as i said before fusing of flashback in present was excellent idea in narration. I have seen the fusing in many films but in this one it had uniqueness maybe because of the outstanding direction. It had many dialogues which were apt to the story and it also helped in thrilling scenes.

2.) Adivi,adah and anusuya- Adivi as main character nailed it with his noticing acting skills. His acting was apt and no faults in it. Next is adah the female main character was also superb. All emotions as a mother and girlfriend was rightly portrayed. Anusuya was good and rest of the cast was also good.

Overall- This movie deserves 5/5 because it has all the ingredients for it. Its surely a must watch movie. I am sad that only Telugu audience will be watching it but I recommend that it requires a remake so that many people will notice it. I hope it gets remaked. In short I loved it. Keep it up to the entire team and hope I can see meaningful movies like this in Telugu industry

positives- 1.) direction- direction by Jeethu Joseph was damn good. i liked the way he presented this clichéd story through flashback and present style. only because of his direction this movie dint become a bore one. well in most of his movies one can see his craziness in montages and visual effects driven narrative pattern in his past movies. here also director has shown no compromise in using these.

2.) Prithviraj ,Pasupathy and Neeraj - they nailed it!! they all did their parts well but i can not say that this is the best from them (its mainly because of screenplay as it dint give them much opportunities to showcase their skills.)but if you compare with rest all actors then yes these 3 have done it better.

3.)songs and background score- background score was thrilling and out of 2 songs only one song was good. the party song was boring and i felt they could have done it better to make it an interesting one. and using of the first song in some areas as background score was good. background score as i said it was thrilling but then you have heard this type somewhere else(i guess it is copied or inspired from some other thriller movies.) but then it was good and it helped the narration as well so i wont blame it.

4.) edits and Vfx- edits was good but vfx could have been better. why i mentioned vfx in positives is because it wasn't that bad and it made the narration interesting but if they could have edited that vfx slightly then it would have been a best but since its a Malayalam movie and we cant expect that much so its fine.

negatives- 1.)screenplay ,script and story- screenplay and script dint have nothing much to offer but story was repeated and clichéd. well we have seen many similar types of movies in Malayalam and some came into my mind where- chess (Dileep movie) , Avatharam (Dileep movie) and crazy gopalan (dileep movie).(all were Dileep movies ) there are many more but these were the ones that striked in my mind and its only because of that the story looked similar. screenplay dint give much chance to some actors and this effected in a bad way. like for example for Divya pillai's role was short in first half but in second half it was stretched and it dint make any relevance for that character. makers could have detailed her role in first half so that viewers could have digested her part well in second half.if they could have improvised the screenplay and script then it would have been excellent product.

2.) failed to convey thrill- yes you heard it right because the thrill factor wasn't there. jeethu tried his best to add thrill through back and forth narration style and i am not saying that was a bad idea but then though it dint work out properly. i think screenplay was responsible for this because it dint have elements that are required for thriller movies.

3.)party song- it was boring is it a must watch? not a must watch but yes you can watch it with your family for time pass and i guarantee it wont bore you because of Jeethu's direction ,some actors performance and background score for sure.

overall- i know i have been repeatedly praising Jeethu Joseph's direction in this review and its only because he has done it neatly and i don't want you to forget that (that was the main reason for repeating it ). so in short Oozham is a good watch or maybe a time pass watch for some but don't expect this to be a suspense thriller as this movie works only because of minimal twists Jeethu Joseph has enclosed at major plot points.

Postives - 1.)Mohanlal (comeback after 10 months)- he was brilliant and he has portrayed his character in a good manner that you wont forget about his performance (well done). and in Telugu version i was really impressed because he himself dubbed in Telugu for his role and its a proud moment for Kerala.

2.) gauthami (i am seeing her after long time on screen and it was a nice comeback) - her role depicting a normal mother doing household chores was excellent (may remind you of Sridevi in English Vinglish).

3.) vishwant as abhiram was totally good. he portrayed that tech geek boy in a nice manner. and his romantic scenes was good and the script was able to support him with plenty of good dialogues which was comfortable for him and for his limited emotions.

4.)raina as mahitha was the main highlight. she has done her role excellenty and casting her was a right choice indeed!! and yes she was able to provide all emotions in this movie which some actors failed to provide. she may be a child artist but her acting was outstanding!!

5.) a good message film.

negatives- 1.) script and direction- well if the national award winning director could have taken care a bit then this movie could have also got a national award. script disappointed me at certain areas and we can feel clichés in towards climax where its supposed to amaze us. climax was supposed to be a legend one according to director but for us it was mixed bag of clichés. there are many movies like this and it reminded me of a Malayalam movie(paisa paisa movie). that movie was excellent in providing thrill as well as emotions at the same time. i don't know if director was trying to copy that but he should have remaked it other than adding scenes from paisa paisa. i am not saying script failed to provide thrill but suspense in climax and thrill in interval wasn't that good. from directors part he could have made it in raw film realness format other than following normal colorful format . and plus he could have added few thriller scenes extra. from the script part i think the script could have been more thrilling if the writers could have added variety and inspiring dialogues in to it. makers could have added few variety scenes to make it a extraordinary one and this film has a great potential to be a best one.

is it a must watch?

well my opinion is to this is not. watch it for Timepass. yea you can watch with your family and it has a good message to future generations but the script writers and makers failed to execute it properly. so again i am telling you just watch it for time pass and also watch without much expectations.

overall- its a family movie with good message to everyone but you may forget it after few days because of the lack of execution of the film which makes it a one time watch.

Positives- 1.)Direction- Vysakh directed amazingly with lots of fan moments added making it an splendid watch.

2.) Story- Not an extraordinary one but it can entertain you.

3.)Mohanlal- Outstanding performance from mohanlal. Each and every scenes of his acting were brilliant and his action sequences need lots of applauds (It has already got from audience).

4.)Aijaz (childhood character of mohanlal), Lal,Vinu Mohan,Bala and Jagapathi Babu.

5.) Bg score and music- Gopi sundar once again proved and title song was superb. Without title song this movie would have got affected badly and its an asset to this film. Keep it up Gopi Sundar!! 6.)Action sequences- One of the best action choreography and i have never seen like this type of actions in Indian movies. Peter Hein has choreographed properly without any flaws and all of them were jaw dropping and thrilling.

7.) Cinematography and editing- Cinematography was visual treat and editing works were good.

Negative- 1.)Suraj comedies- Was bit outdated and boring. Plus all his jokes were lame. Cant blame him completely because the script failed in those portions and not him.

2.)Screenplay- Not Worst but could have been better because i felt out of all screenplay didn't offer nothing new and bored non mohanlal fans at certain areas with clichés.

Is it a Must Watch Film? Yes, It is a must watch film and you will never see this type of films in malayalam because its very rare and with budget of 25cr they have utilised it properly. No Indian films till now could make such an excellent product with this type of budget. Usually if you check other lang movies you can see it exceeds 40 cr + to make pulimurgan type of films and that too it fails to reach the expectations. So special applauds to director for that.

Overall- Go for this flick and surely it will be first malayalam movie to reach 100cr worldwide. If you check in terms of story it may not be that great but overall its a well packaged one and its surely a complete treat to mohanlal fans!! Don't wait for its DVD because you will get its feel only in theatre. And its a visual treat to everyone.

"One of the best comedy movie of 2016 with lots of hilarious moments.Nadirshah's direction and vishnu's and vibins script reminded me of their previous flick Amar akbar anthony in terms of everything. Overall its a hilarious fun filled product" My rating- 3.8/5 (Good comedy movie)

Positives- 1.)Direction and script- In terms of everything it had resemblance of Amar Akbar Antony(AAA) and they followed the same pattern. But it wasn't be that great as AAA because here story wasn't that great. I am not saying the story is bad but it wasn't as powerful as AAA's story. Script is the major plus point because it was able to entertain the audience in a right way. Only laughter could be heard in theater and this was because of the powerful script.

2.)Vishnu unikrishanan, dharmajan, saleem kumar, siddique and lijimol Jose- Vishnu who is script writer and protagonist was excellent and he was apt for the character. His acting was superb and realistic. Dharmajan and saleem kumar's comedy is another highlight point of this movie. They jokes were superb. Siddique as protagonist's dad was excellent and i must appreciate him for choosing variety of roles in his career. If you check his recent movies then you can see him in different roles. Lijimol Jose to my surprise she acted naturally without any flaws.

3.)Comedy- All jokes were sensible and good.

Negatives- 1.)Story could have been improved. Its not a bad story but i felt the story wasn't that powerful as AAA.

Is it a must watch? Yes it need to be watched specially from theaters to get the feel and its a fun filled ride and Paisa Vasool.

Overall- Watch it to get entertained.

1.)Shane nigam , Shruty menon , Vinay fort - they acted brilliantly with realistic no lag dialogue delivery. i thought Shane nigam would not be able to handle this role but he handled it maturely as a 23 year old boy in this film. (we got a good actor). Vinay fort as usual he does his role nicely and this time as police officer was marvelous. sometimes his strict dialogues and mannerisms also frightened me in theater. Shruty menon was apt for this movie and her acting was also good.

2.)direction,script- Shanavas is one of the new good director who entered film industry this year with this brilliant movie. i was amazed by his making style and he never showed any lags as debut directors does. well done!!. realistic direction as well as script was totally good for this movie. this is not first time in our industry and many films have done this genre (tragedy love story) and most resemblance is from annayum rasoolam. maybe this film will not be able to stand with annayum rasoolam as that film is always in top position in term of everything. i think Shanavas has seen that movie many times to make this one as this movie shows lots of similarities. if this movie dint come with "based on true incident" tag then every one would have blamed it for copying it. well i am not saying as a complaint and i was just expressing my views. Kismat is a good film and its only because of director's effort this movie became a delightful watch.

3.) songs,bgscore cinematography,edits - music director using "kisa paathiyil" as a background score was a totally a good idea. and songs were top and matching this film. cinematography which we usually see in many realistic films was good. edits was also good.

4.) length of this film- this is less than 2 hrs movie and it will not bore you. you may even feel that this movie ended fast. and because of this there is no lags in this film.

negatives-

1.)if they could have added a little varieties to this flick maybe it could have got international recognition. its not a big negative point but just a suggestion. 2.) its a romantic story but i felt romance was pretty less in this flick. 3.) even though its a tragedy it may not wet your eyes like usual tragedy movies does.

is it a must watch? if you are a fan of realistic romantic tragedy movies then yes or if you are masala movies fan then it will be a little confusing decision i guess. since this movie is based on true incident it has to be watched by everyone to know about this incident.

overall- a real life tragedy romantic flick which i would like to recommend to everyone. may not be everyone's cup of tea but try to watch this flick and that's all i can say. (but don't go with high expectations)
