Treehouse
(2014)

names and (sur)names
I have never watched a movie with so many people having surnames that could be first names. Now i am intrigued and i want to keep on watching it.

Haute tension
(2003)

generous me!
What a boring, predictable movie. nothing new. alas, under the french sky. the spoiler is: avoid wasting irreplaceable hours of your life.

Loro 2
(2018)

such a pity the reviews do not go under 300
What a waste of time, film, money, effort. An absolute meaningless movie, a tribute to someone who did not give a damn about Italy. But then again, and to my own protection: This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, places and incidents either are products of the author's imagination or are used fictitiously. Any resemblance to actual events or locales or persons, living or dead, is entirely coincidental. Duh.

It Follows
(2014)

good plot, aweful acting
A lot of this movie has been taken from 'the ring'. the movie has interesting and valid references to youth's issues yet it fails to deliver due to really poor acting. one example should suffice: during the pool scene, a girl gest shot in the leg and apart from not screaming out of pain she is totally ignored by the others. 4 is a very generous rating.

Compagni di scuola
(1988)

a wonderful movie
I have lost count of how many times I have watched, and watched again, this masterpiece of Italian cinema. A tragicomedy that sums up the goals missed and the delusions achieved in life. And vice-versa..

15 years is indeed a long time, and if you decide to "review your life", do it with those who have been around all along.

It is indeed a wonderful movie, a snapshot of the Italian life (applicable however also to other cultures, just think of "friend-face", the memorable episode of The IT crowd) and you will see the aim of the exercise: to try and appear successful before the eyes of, let's face it, complete strangers.

I love it.
