Used to watch the series on TV a long while ago.I have since visited Las Vegas and would love to see this series released on DVD. I have also bought through Amazon.com the VHS tape of the pilot movie.I have not watched it yet but am looking forward to it.I thought the drive- in garage into the living room was so "cool" but also unique.Only other car which did this was an episode of Everybody loves Raymond.Remember Doris Roberts expression when she realised she was in her son's living room?.Back to Vegas,I also always liked Robert Ulrich and enjoyed his acting in Spenser for Hire.Please " the power that be " release this ASAP. Saw this on TV. A simple and beautifully told story of an young girl searching for love and her father. Like most children she has her "security blanket" which in her case happens to be a tree...... That beautiful tree is her confidant,her confort,her everything. So you can image her reaction when she is asked to give up this constant source of joy to be cut down and become the Christmas tree in the Rockefeller center. The story unfolds with such emotions by letting us know the life of the sister who adopted the Tree. Right until the end her roller coaster of emotions keeps us fixed and transfixed to the chair. Loved it and loved Julie Harris controlled acting.The sententially story of Cristmas without the usual HO HO HO. Recommended. Millie

Enjoyed the series when shown on TV first time around.I have purchased season one to three (as available) and I am wondering when further seasons will be released.I enjoyed Fred Dryer's laid back acting(I know he was replacing Clint Eastwwod persons on TV) but the cast was so right for the show,except maybe the "Captain', until the arrival of the actor who finally settled in the role.I seem to have forgotten the name of whoever played the captain. But I enjoyed James Whitmore Jr and his by the book policing, Didi Mccall (Stephanie Kramer)stunningly beautiful yet so handy with her gun,although I must admit she looked too frail to be a real cop.All in all a good series to add to one's library.Cannot wait for future season releases to buy. I have seen this movie on late night TV.Hilarious is an understatement. Glen Ford tries to protect his wife(Debbie) from a blackmailer,so he invites said blackmailer at his house with the plan of killing him thus saving his wife from harassment.Unfortunately he thinks he has killed him,now the problem is to bury the body. He does under his wife new gazebo But it rains that evening and up comes the body and there we go in hysterical scene after scene trying to keep the body buried and the police at bay.Naturally the whole crime could get undone and Glenn Ford found out all thank to a Pigeon. The final scene is pure delight,I truly recommend this film to everyone. Now for the 65 dollars question when would it be released on DVD.Millie

It was my mother's favorite show on TV.Her, being part Greek born in Egypt she and her friends found Kojak very sexy.I enjoyed his quirky remarks,his lollipop and his poor poor brother Stavros. Stavros of the talking to the plants guy! Everyone in the series shone,not so much for any violent stunts or microscopic dissecting of a cadaver(like the CSI of todays TV),no they were entertaining and spellbinding simply by solving crimes,witty dialogue and astute observations of human behavior.No DNA or gleaming forensic rooms with computers etc,these men solved crimes methodically and with common sense. I have purchased series one of this show and would love to see the rest of series two to five released on DVD.Would make a great birthday present for Mum. Millie

Caught this gem on late night TV a few years ago.Even though the story is set during World War II and Danny Kaye's character is trying to escape to safety, it has so many poignantly funny moments that one remembers and has a chuckle about it. My favourite: "in the cathedral of my heart a candle will be lit".This is by the Colonel to one of his many paramours. Eventually Danny Kaye cannot help himself and wonders how big is the Colonel's heart to accommodate all this candles? Next is the oft repeated line : "less and less I like this Jacoboski".Last but not least is the third character in the story, the faithful sergeant played by Akim Tamiroff. This film has drama,pathos,laughs and tears all within a story of escape,pride and sadly war.Highly sought after if released on DVD. Millie

Used to watch this series a long long time ago.Loved it so much that I promised myself I will visit beautiful San Francisco(I did and loved it). Although the series bore no resemblance to "real" people: how many of us know of a police Cornish and his wife solving murders personally? Still it was an hour spent each week being entertained by Mrs McMillan,her funny and slightly "boozed"housemaid and the most overworked,underpaid and undernourished Sergeant.Watching the show let me escape in a world of thrills and spills,and all the beautiful people that only a TV show can present.Mrs McMillan never had to make the bed or run the vacuum or do the ironing,no no all she involved herself was crooks and more crooks some nastier than others.Pure simple escapism for my family and myself. So now comes the sixty four dollars questions: when are we going to see more releases on DVD of this TV show and others like McCloud. Millie

Although I only saw this movie once over ten years ago on late night TV,I was struck by the beautiful scenery and the storyline somehow reminded me of James Mason & Judy Garland "A star is born".Shirley Mclaine is a favorite of mine and she managed to imbue the Japanese persona so purely and one could feel Yves Montand frustration and eagerness to achieve success without his wife.I cannot recall much more of this film but I do know that my best friend Maruschka has watched it so many times that her tape copy is wearing out.It is a classic love story. Very hard to find a copy for it and I would love to see it out on DVD.I would then surprise my friend by buying her a copy (and one for me also).Millie

Watched this film on late night TV.Have tried without success to obtain a copy.The movie was quite a surprise as I do not usually like Fred Astaire,but in this, he showed quite a flair for light comedy.As for Lilli Palmer,she is such a classy lady,loved everyone in this movie.Who can forget the last reels at the airport when Astaire steals the family cook!. Would love to see this released on DVD.It has so much to offer from Debbie Reynolds to Tab Hunter.The dialogue was witty and I even enjoyed the one and only dance routine by Fred Astaire.But Ms Palmer kept me smiling as she worried about what was up her ex husband's sleeve.He actually wanted to break up his daughter's engagement and take her with him around the world.He nearly succeeded until he realised his daughter felt sorry for him being all alone.Did I mention also the great acting by the actor playing Ms Palmer patient current husband. Cannot wait for a DVD release.Millie
