Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue
(2023)

Akshay kumar eats the VFX Budget
The movie has the worst VFX and dialogues I've seen in a while. Seems like all the budget went to Akshay Kumar, who in turn adds nothing expect but his name to the movie.

The movie has needless dramatisation. The characters are bland and cliche.

Acting is looks forced a lot of time and it's digital to relate to the characters I am not sure about the factual accuracy as there are characters just trying to waste time instead of trying to save any lives.

The real story could have been quite straightforward with tram but they had to try and make it interesting, so made it a cesspool of drama

Typical Bollywood mess.

Kaala Paani
(2023)

Good drama but unrealistic and without logic
The series has a good drama but there is no connection to reality when it comes to fighting a disease. In fact the side stories and drama are the main priority of the series. Finding a cure is like 10th on the list of everyone's priorities Also seems like India and rest of the world just abondons the whole island and let them die and everyone fate depends on two doctors who can't agree on basic things and a private company with more power than the whole country.

Frankly it started with a lot of potential but it seems like they have added tragedy, drama and hopelessness just for the sake of it. And that's what makes the series mediocre at best.

Prehistoric Planet
(2022)

Stunning visuals weaved with a compelling story
I was expecting a visual treat from this show looking at the trailers, and it was indeed better than expected. You forget that you are watching CGI and what makes the forgetting even easier are the short stories attached to the characters i.e the dinosaurs. A mother protecting a child, a bird's first dangerous flight. Very interesting stories that hook you to the episode. And the voice of David Attenborough is what binds it all together into a very engaging watch.
