This is one of the best shows I've seen in a long time. I would have loved to see many more episodes. The actors and characters were just awesome! I am sad that there were only 2 seasons. I have watch those 2 seasons many times over...

This is a ridiculous excuse for a show. I like Karaoke, but I am not interested in watching unpopular or ex-celebrities sing in a mask. Its silly, and I don't care about the stupid guesses from other stupid celebs about who they are. Pretending that they give a crap is probably the hardest part about watching it. I like some of these guys that are on the show, but I would rather see them return to the spotlight rather than do this stupid show. The ratings have to be pretty low!

The hosts are silly, trying to make the best of a really bad format. The format is biased, unfair, and simply stupid. No and I mean NO, really, really good artists are going to waste time and subject themselves to this. You should instead have the contestants draw straws to challenge someone. The only time, and I mean the ONLY time a real vote takes place seems to be when the audience votes, but even that seems like it could be rigged pretty easily on this show. I think its totally rigged by the producers, trying to do all they can to make the show seem exciting and challenging, but it just falls flat.

BUT, if you like a lot of smack talking from a bunch of adult sized children, this may be your cup of tea!

That's like a car that's afraid of a freeway. This is only going to be enjoyed by children under 10, if even that. Bob the builder is better, seriously.

Summary: Jokes were not funny - Every line was trying too, too hard - Any effort to give the characters life fall very, very short - Action scenes were boring and predictable - It was like drinking a flat soda, no spark or fizz from start to finish.

Well, I feel like I have put more effort into this review than it deserves! Which is more than I can say for the film.

UGH, I want my time back please!

I expect that when I watch a movie, that's based on a book I've read, it will have "some things cut out" and to have "other things shortened". I expected even some poetic license, and that the characters would not be the age expected from the books. I did not expect that the story would only kind of follow the book, it has the title after all. The writers take a lot of license with this story. I feel bad for the actors, they are given horrible lines and bad jokes to try and pull off. We don't even get a chance to get in touch with and care about the characters. This and the previous Percy Jackson movie could have been huge blockbusters if they had just stuck to the story more and developed the characters a little. This is why when it came out in theaters I did't even hear about it. Its hard to rave about something that sucks. I'm Glad I only heard about it when it was available to rent. I will certainly be renting the next one. I kind of wonder if it will end up being a "made for DVD movie" if it gets made at all. Not looking forward to it, not even a little.
