The Love Issue
(2023)

a romantic gem!
By far one of the best romantic comedies I've seen and deserves a wide audience. What really engages is the way the relationship develops between the central characters. It feels like true romance and the build to their final kiss is perfectly paced. Actress Alicia makes the most of her role, bringing out the perfect blend of sass, drive, intelligence and authenticity. Luke, as Nate is the perfect romantic foil. I also love the premise of this film, set in the highly competitive and glamorous magazine industry with Darcy using all her wit and drive to shake things up. Lovely writing and performances, and it looks good too!

Write Place, Write Time
(2023)

Romance and so much more!
This is a perfectly paced, engaging, character driven romcom with true heart, warmth and wit! Despite her initial Princess qualities, lead character Paige's self deprecating humour and vulnerability makes you root for her to succeed. Kaitlyn Leeb brings great coming timing to her role. For me, what really elevates this romcom is the strong female friendships, there's great chemistry between Kaitlyn and fellow actress Kimberley-Ann Truong and lovely comic deadpan from Kelly Mc Namee - overall beautifully written and performed. Thematically, this film explores parental pressures and how to break away and write your own story. Highly recommend!
