Our Cartoon President
(2018)

When you can tell humor from reality
This shows in a way makes me sad, that we have such an inept person in the highest office of this country. Mocks immigrants, disabled, veterans, Muslim, and everyone who doesn't look like him. Even though this show cracks me up, the writers just have to watch a rally speech to get material. In the meantime relax eat popcorn and enjoy the hypocrisy.

Waves
(2019)

Two Part Movie
I like the first half of the movie. Wrestling athlete trying to live in his fathers world, as well as managing a love relationship. The second half was based on the sister's view, and her relationship. Movie with lots of potential.

DeRay Davis: Power Play
(2010)

Funny Funny
Deray brought it. Great jokes, great energy. Must watch.

The Chocolate Sundaes Comedy Show
(2013)

Good Laughs
Not a bad comedy special. Good jokes. Like how they stay current with the time.

Arnez J. : Racially Motivated
(2013)

Made me laugh
Had a great time watching this stand up. Always been a fan of Arnez. Get ready for some good laughs

Uncut Gems
(2019)

Why the hate?
Adam Sandler was excellent in this movie. The entire time it kept you thinking how else is he going to mess up. The ending was unexpected. Its definitely a good watch.

The Banker
(2020)

Not Surprised
Still amazes me the level of corruption, and racism innocent citizens experience just 40 years ago. If they don't let you come thru the door you come in thru the window. This are the type of actions that create change in our society. Good acting, great movie.

Just Mercy
(2019)

Emotional Roller Coaster
Phenomenal job by Michael B. Jordan, and Jamie Foxx. Sad to see that we are still seeing this type of injustice. The only way this will be minimize is by educating ourselves and becoming lawyers, judges, politicians that will truly make a difference. Watching this movie most likely will make you angry, and emotional. We just need to better ourselves to make a difference in our communities.

Living Undocumented
(2019)

Great Documentary
What makes America great is all the different ethnicities and backgrounds. For those that say my parents came in legally in the 1900's the process was not the same as today, and most were coming from Europeans countries. If you came thru Ellis Island less than 2% were returned. Imagine if the roles were reversed. What we need to do as a nation is fix our immigration system/law instead of criminalize immigrants. This were real people affected in different ways by a broken system. Not every Italian is in the MOB, Not every Mexican is a criminal. The same administration that created this propaganda are in their own mess. KARMA

Nobody's Fool
(2018)

Funny
Decent movie. Tiffany Haddish was funny. If your expectations are high for this movie you will be giving it a low score. This is a good flix to relax, chill and have a few laughs.

Les frères Sisters
(2018)

This Movie Goes Absolutely Nowhere
Great actors in this movie. Had a ton of potential, just wasted two hours of non-sense. The rating is not accurate. This movie had its moments but not worth the time to watch. Save yourself the time and watch something else.

The Upside
(2017)

Good Movie
Thanks for all those that gave this movie a positive review. Bryan and Kevin had great chemistry in this movie. It was funny, emotional, good paced flick. It doesn't matter if is not better than the original, this was an enjoyable picture. You won't be disappointed.

ReMastered: Who Killed Jam Master Jay?
(2018)

Interesting
This was an interesting documentary. How does a murder go unsolved with the amount of witnesses at the scene? Sad to see someone who helped his community life end at a young age, by people he possibly knew.

Trevor Noah: Son of Patricia
(2018)

Why the negative reviews?
Trevor Noah was comical. He had witty jokes and talked about current events. The jokes delivered and were on point. If you feel some type of way about racism, and live in a bubble maybe this is not for you. Stick with your flavorless potatoes.

Sorry to Bother You
(2018)

Had Potential
This movie started out ok, Cassius looking for a job to stay afloat. Made a quick connection with his co-workers as a telemarketer. Had a supportive girlfriend. Started to be part of a movement to better the working conditions, then the plot took a turn of no return. He was promoted to the exclusive floor for a job well done. A part that I found comical was when Cassius had to speak "White" to be a good seller. Cassius turned his back on the movement his coworkers had started, due to the income he was now making. The movie was all over the place. It tried to mimic current events. It just didn't deliver like "Blackkklansman" did. Overall the potential was there the plot was not.

Ready Player One
(2018)

Entertaining
This movie surprised me. Wasn't expecting much other than the animation. For those who compare it to the book, it's a movie. If you are disappointed stick to reading. From start to finish the story was entertaining and kept you engaged. If you want to see something different with your family I highly recommend. Bring out the popcorn.

Gringo
(2018)

Surprised!!!!
This movie was pretty good. I did not have much expectation do to the ratings and some of the reviews. It was a fun movie, with comedy and action all in one. David Oyelowo was great as Harold. All in all good movie to relax and eat popcorn.

Roman J. Israel, Esq.
(2017)

One of the best Actors of all time
Denzel was phenomenal in this movie. This movie relates to our current society in many ways. It shows how hard it is to practice and stay true to your beliefs, as well as how easy is to look the other way and follow the crowd. Movie has excellent pace, and delivers.

The Angriest Man in Brooklyn
(2014)

Waste of Talent
With so many great actors this movie was a waste of time. The concept was good, the script did not deliver. Henry (Robin Williams) is a miserable man who wants to argue with everyone he meets. Dr. Gill (Mila Kunis)is the doctor that delivers the bad news to Henry about only having 90 minutes to live. This starts a running frenzy between both characters Henry and Dr. Gill. Henry is trying to amend the relationship with his family while Dr. Gill is trying to advise Henry the results she delivered to him earlier in the day were not as accurate as he thinks. Henry discovers he's wife (Melissa Leo)has been unfaithful with what looks to be a seventy year old man. The son has become estranged due to past issues. The movie should have been titled running around New York in 90 minutes for no reason. Peter Dinklage was just an add-in.
