Frank & Flo
(2010)

Very cute romance
Very cute little movie. It starts off with both Frank and Flo in bed, naked. They wake up each not knowing the other. As their hangover wears out, they discover each other. They discuss their backgrounds. Divorce is their decision.

I really enjoyed this movie.

It was shot well and had some smiling moments. Although the release says 2010, I didn't see this movie till 2015.

If you go to their website it says there was some issue with releasing it.

Not sure what that story is, but I'm glad I saw it.

It is no longer on their website but I did find it on Amazon.

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: The Visitor
(1995)
Episode 2, Season 4

Great Acting, Great Story
I loved this episode and got tears as well. I have a great relationship with my father and yet it still hit me as hard as those with father issues.

I'm usually a hater of the "human interest" Star Trek episodes because they usually are just treading water until the producers can get enough budget for a good episode. THIS IS AN EXCEPTION.

I bought the season four DVD just so I could have this episode and share it with my own son.

Also, this would be a great episode to get your lady friend interested in the Star Trek franchise.

Courage & Stupidity
(2005)

Delightful but possible front for a Hollywood director
I really enjoyed watching this movie.

It felt like I was watching a Disney-type movie in compressed format.

What do I mean? The film hits all points from funny to meaningful drama. Unfortunately, due to the length, it only hit the surface of scenes that could have been expanded if the film were feature length.

I am amazed on how professional it looked and the quality of the actors. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that a Hollywood guy directed and financed this himself and used "Darin Beckstead" as a fake name or as a front man. I mean who is this "Darin Beckstead" and how could he go from nowhere to make something like this (this thing must have cost at least $200,000 to make).
