Tony Hawk's American Wasteland
(2005)

Great game, cheesy dialogue.
I just started playing and am almost finished with the latest installment of the Tony Hawk series. Tony Hawk's American Wasteland plays similar to its predecessors, only difference being that there are a few new moves and options that greatly enhance the game play. The levels are all linked together so you won't have to select them from a screen; you just ride to the location using the Skateboard, BMX, or the bus or truck if you're lazy. The downside seems to be that the conversations amongst the characters could be dull or sappy, and sometimes really cheesy. This doesn't really take away from the game due to the fact you'll spend most of your time completing missions or riding from town to town.

I can personally say that once I started playing, I couldn't put it down for hours. The missions are just really exciting, creative and challenging enough to keep you playing nonstop.

Aside from the dialogue, I give it a 9/10.

Lumines: Puzzle Fusion
(2004)

Block breaking fun!
Lumines is a great game for the PSP which anybody can easily pick up and learn. As you make your way through each level, you are able to pick up new skins and music. This is a block breaking game just like Tetris, only different in some ways. The object is to line the blocks up as they fall and try to break them by having them touch other blocks with the same color.

This game keeps challenging me no matter how far I get, so the replay value is seemingly endless. The music is great to listen to for this type of game and it's an added incentive for you to progress further. The backgrounds are awesome to look at as well, as it gives you the feeling of being somewhere else and just like the music; you'll get more as you go along.

If you have or plan to buy a PSP and like puzzle games, I definitely recommend Lumines.
