Joker
(2019)

Damn...
To me, Joker is always Heath Ledger, I mean, I never hoped (and wanted) anybody to pull the character Joker like him. There were none who could ordain the throne, but Joaquin Phoenix did the finest job. I mean, he was phenomenal! His madness, his sadness, his joker laughter-it's like Joker is someone from our real world and he is it, not Joaquin. The story was to the point, the direction was neat and on top of that, loved the ending! Can't wait to see how the dark knight will rise! After Nolan' majestic The Dark Knight Trilogy, Joker is my most favorite movie about DC Universe.

Charlie
(2015)

Worth your time!
I never felt the feeling that this movie made me feel. This movie is like a breeze that blows unexpectedly and stops a city dweller to breathe in. The casting, the acting and the direction were perfectly blended. I really wish a journey like the one Charlie and Tessa had in the movie. I really do.

Bangalore Days
(2014)

A heartwarming and beautifully written story with meticulous execution!
I have started watching Malayalam movies recently. This is the second movie of my Malayalam watchlist. Once started, I couldn't pause it. The casts were brilliant, the flow and twists were on point. Being an inhabitant of a big city, I never realized that life in a city is not just giant buildings or getting stuck in traffic. Life is so full of surprises. You just have to believe in it.

Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani
(2002)

Horribly good!
To me, this movie seemed like the Bollywood version of the cult film, 'The Room'. It was so terrible, so weird, so funny! The actors and actresses were horrible, so were the direction and special effects. I don't understand why so many stars of that time appeared in such a film.

Andhadhun
(2018)

Thriller at its best
After a long time, I have seen such a movie which failed every one of my predictions. Plot twists were to the point. Really liked the comedy doses. Overall, this is a movie worth watching.

Zero
(2018)

So disappointing...
I have no complain about acting. To be honest, this is the first movie of Katrina Kaif where I think she acted better. This is the only thing I liked about this movie. Otherwise, I regret watching it on 21st December, the longest night of the year. This movie proved how in spite of having good actors and cast, a lack of good and magnetic story can damage a movie real bad. I wasted the night as I watched a movie which has a not so convincing story. Come on people, Aafia is a Nasa scientist who found water on Mars. A girl of that calibre, although physically impaired, doesn't need to find her better half through a matrimony service. She lives in USA for God's sake! Yet they managed to create so many coincidences with her and Bauua. This is the least I can pinpoint. If I begin ranting, it will be an annoying prose so I want to skip it for now. I rated it 4 star out of mercy. It barely deserves 1 star to be honest. In a nutshell, do something productive in two and a half hours other than watching this.
