This movie was such a wast of time. I love Tom Hanks and Meril Streep, but was more than disappointed with the movie. The plot was confusing and the play of the action was more than confusing. I could not follow the action. Do not waste your time on this movie. You would have to be a student of the historical period to even follow what was happening.

This is absolutely the very best film that Ving Rames has ever made. His performance was amazing, totally outside of his expected roles. His portrait of a gay drag queen is exquisite. It shows a depth of understanding and empathy which has not been seen is years. His performance is more than deserving of an academy award, not withstandinq that this offering does not qualify for such an award.

This is nothing more than a rip-off of Isaac Asimov's short story, "Franchise", which was not credited.

It is about time that a film was made which shows that there can be very real and deep relationships between older women and younger men. I am tired of society blessing old farts who chase after young women and are told that this is all right, but that older women with younger men are somehow unacceptable. These two great actors do wonderful jobs at showing the very real feelings between these two people. I can only hope that enough people see this movie so a social change can begin of our perceptions of what are "acceptable" relationships between men and women, regardless of age, race, or anything else. If everyone paid more attention to their own lives and relationships and stopped judging others, the world would be a better place.
