The Crown
(2016)

A peek into history, although with liberties taken.
Excellent cast for all the main roles. I've enjoyed these 2 seasons and hope that the next crop of actors can rise to the occassion for the upcoming season. Well done Claire Foy, Matt Smith and Vanessa Kirby!

Dynasty
(2017)

A Dynasty to make the original proud.
Excellent casting is key to a good start and even though some of the leads are not household names,They are filling some pretty big shoes. As a big fan of the 80s original, I have high expectations for the millennials taking the reigns in this revamp, and I have to say, so far so good. Great seeing Grant Show still doing his thing. But I must commend the actress, Elizabeth Gillies for coming out the gate with all her claws bared as Fallon. Excellent casting choice the as Fallon. Love the diversity on the show as well. Kudos to the casting.

Best of luck with the show and I can't wait to see how the series progresses.

Midnight, Texas
(2017)

Midnight, Texas has my vote.
I'm really getting into this show. As with most new series, I think you have to watch at least 3 episodes to get a feel for the plot and the cast. Although the pilot was just OK, I like the show more and more each week as things are revealed. So far so good. I tuned in because 2 of my fave actors are on the show. Peter Mensah, and Arielle Kebbel.

Still Star-Crossed
(2017)

New Spin on the old classic.
I really enjoyed this show. On my vacation, I had a chance to binge watch the last 4 episodes. I was very impressed with this ensemble cast, and really wish the network would have given it a chance, as 7 episodes really isn't enough for a new show. Maybe they will make a movie to tie up the loose ends and see if our main characters will actually get together. Best of luck to the actors and actresses with their respective endeavors.
