Time

You'll probably cry
Excellent story, excellent acting and excellent length. It really makes you think and you won't want to go to jail for sure after watching! I cried during the last episode.

Anatomy of a Scandal
(2022)

Very watchable story and mostly outstanding acting
There are a lot of triggered men leaving reviews here but don't let that put you off.

While I do believe one aspect of the twist was unbelievable the story was solid and well told.

Is it believable in all aspects of the law? I don't know, I'm not a lawyer, and also, I don't really care. If I want to learn about how the courtroom works I'll pick up a book, not watch a Netflix series.

Overall thoroughly enjoyable and well worth a watch.

Janet Jackson.

Love you Janet
Shows how incredible this woman is. Just phenomenal. Last episode in particular is really touching and makes you want to tear up.

Can't wait to see what else she does.

The Lost Daughter
(2021)

Wow very uncomfortable in the most subtle way
I was on the edge on my seat as I had no idea what was going to happen. The dialogue was super natural and performances were excellent. Olivia tip top as always and Jessie was wonderful too. A story about love and parenthood.

Kate
(2021)

Loved elizabeth but the film is distinctly average
Elizabeth Mary is a great badass heroine in this but everything else falls a little flat. Plot is obvious, boring Japanese cliches aplenty, etc . It's watchable but very average. Oh and it made me realise that Japanese pop is very very annoying. Gah.

Clickbait

Enjoyable
I like short series and there should be more of them. This kept me intrigued until the end and I enjoyed the characters and acting. The first episode especially was great - loved mia's night out haha.

Halston
(2021)

I enjoyed it
Very entertaining and the acting was outstanding. Ewan and woman who played Liza were incredible and the details were great.

Mary J Blige's My Life
(2021)

Love Mary but wanted more
Unfortunately I didn't grow up with her music but of course know who she is and have heard some of her songs.

I was interested to watch this as it would touch on her depression and I'm going through a very tough time myself.

While it was inspiring I didn't learn much about Mary at all. It's glossed over every topic and had some unnecessary filler.

Still worth a watch though.

Girls
(2012)

Bloody loved it
Just binged the entire thing and I loved it. Truly wish it hadn't ended.

Realistic, unpredictable and funny. Just fantastic and I never finish series.

Bad Trip
(2021)

Enjoyed it
Loved it. Funny, right length and for a Brit it was like hanging out with real Americans. Not glamorous but fun and I wish I was in some of those situations. If you like Borat you should live this.

Tina
(2021)

Wonderful
I knew bits of her life story but the doc laid it all out. Gut tears towards the end. What a magnificent woman.

Behind Her Eyes
(2021)

Loved it
I never finish series and I ingested this. It starts off slow but my episode 4/5 you can't stop watching

Small Axe: Red, White and Blue
(2020)
Episode 3, Season 1

Very good
Thoroughly enjoyed this and will be watching the rest of the series

Jack and the Beanstalk: After Ever After
(2020)

A lot of fun
Great storytelling, Walliams' humour, charming Jack and Sheridan Smith. What more can you ask for?

Love Wedding Repeat
(2020)

I have to stand up for this film
I hate rom coms and I actually liked this one. Think it warms up hugely halfway through and end up being quite funny and charming. If you want something lighthearted and a little moving then watch this. Not all the performances were great throughout but all the actors shined at various moments.
