Street Fighter II: V
(1995)

It hurts me to have to write this but someone needs to be honest.
I was at least pleased to read 1 honest review here. The rest, no offense, seem to be out of fanboyism or from people expecting very little. I will not include any spoilers and get straight to the point so that people know what they are in for and so that the review isn't avoided being read by those who have not yet seen it.

The characters often do not look like people would expect them to look like from the games. Some characters are left out and some are included that were not in the first many SFII games or parts of backstories. The stories of the characters can also differ from the games.

The first 13 episodes were decent for what it was with consideration that the characters and story are extremely loosely connected to the games. After this point is where a viewer might wonder if the producers' budget was greatly reduced as the quality of the show drops off greatly. The show begins to rely on constant reuse of the same animation frames over and over again. Then to make things worse they start slowing the scenes down and playing them very slowly as if you set your video player to 0.5x speed. They also include scenes that are entirely redundant and use the same repeated animations in scenes proceeding them. I had never seen such blatant over-use of the same animation frames. It isn't even like when a background is repeated with new cells drawn overtop, the entire frames are reused, and excessively at that. It blows my mind that people can overlook this so much to still give it such a high rating and raving review. Then, to make things worse, there are not just illogical events but even horrible inconsistencies in its own story (not inconsistencies with the games as others mention).

If all of that wasn't bad enough, they also tease some fan favorite characters in the background as if they will come into the story later but instead, they never do. At this point you might be thinking "it doesn't still get worse, does it?" to which I sadly have to say that yes, it does. They go so far as to forget to bother even continuing main characters' story lines towards the end of the movie and just drop them from the rest of the story, never bothering to explain what happened to them.

If you want to enjoy it as a smaller short series (the good part of it) I suggest just watching the first 13 episodes and then ending it there. If you are willing to sit through what I had mentioned or are interested to see for yourself in detail what I was talking about then by all means, watch the full 29 episodes. There might be some moments past the first 13 episodes that you still enjoy and find worth watching. I know that I did. However, at least you have been warned about what happens with the quality of the production and story during this part.

People are welcome to dislike my review and not find it helpful but do know that all I did was tell what I thought to be the truth about this series from a proper "film review" perspective instead of just talking about how "cool" I thought it was or writing a synopsis for it as a review.

Beavis and Butt-Head: The Ciabatta Zone/Warehouse
(2023)
Episode 11, Season 2

Warehouse Episode = Best
Finally some new jokes were used in the warehouse episode that were not just the same handful of re-used B&B jokes like the rest of the 2 seasons.

It would be create if they could put more effort into making more jokes like this about things other than themselves and their old boring same few jokes. They are funny characters that could be doing much better like this but sadly all too often it is just the same thing over and over again. Butt-head does something that leads to Beavis getting his ass kicked, something bad happens to both of them, they try to score and fail, those are about the only jokes outside of the commentary parts when they watch TV. It already got lame years ago and probably why the 2012 reboot failed. I sure hope that Mike reads this and puts more work into better jokes people can relate to or relate about real world stuff like in this episode before the new show ends up getting denied more seasons.

Kitty Mammas
(2020)

How could you not enjoy this?
It has comedy, it has cute kittens, and it actually has a progressing story with character development for all of the cast. I didn't feel like any cast member's story was left out etc.

The cast involved with the film all did a very excellent job with acting out their parts and were very convincing. The story seemed so legit that I had to keep reminding myself that it wasn't a real documentary and that I was only watching a movie. I loved how they went to the effort to build heart warming stories for each of the characters. The kittens at the end were also extremely adorable!

Enjoyed watching it very much! 10/10.

Adventures of a Pizza Guy
(2015)

A+ for a low budget Canadian film.
This movie did a good job of leaving the viewer puzzled and trying to figure out what is going on while being taken through the adventure of the movie. All of the characters and the actors jobs acting was well done that I could not tell I wasn't watching an A lister. The best part of all was the acting from Andrew Phung. He did a great job playing a convincing role of his character.

LOL: Last One Laughing Canada: Clash of the Titans, eh?
(2022)
Episode 6, Season 1

Incorrect Winner?
Might need to review the video as I saw Colin crack a quick smile to his own joke at 14:30, "We have to remember, I'm a role model to young people". Although not from laughing he also smiled multiple times prior as a reaction from taking the shot.

I get that the last laugh might of been wanted to be a good 1 but other contestants were carded for cracking as much of or less of a smile than Colin did.

Just sayin'.

Strappare lungo i bordi
(2021)

Was hoping for something funny. Instead it was boring and annoying
To keep it very simple. The entire show is the person narrating a voice over. If you like that then have fun but for me I found it extremely annoying and boring. I could not even handle watching the full 1st episode before having to turn it off.

Lego Masters: Flip My Block
(2021)
Episode 10, Season 2

Why the racism?
Why create and air a special stop-motion video for every build besides the build made by the Chinese-American brothers?

Their build was also incredible and used engineering way beyond any of the other builds. Then the only "bad" thing the judges could claim about it was that it looked "blocky", it is LEGO, what in the hell kind of comment is that? All LEGO is going to look blocky especially when the contestants are limited for the type of pieces they can use and don't even have access to all the various smooth surfaced pieces to make stuff not look blocky.

I get that Fox is Republican but not all Republicans are white and not all white Republicans are racist. The minority that are keep making a bad reputation for the rest and it is unfair.

The Mitchells vs the Machines
(2021)

Was this dubbed into English?
Negatives:

I'm fairly sure that English is supposed to be the primary language for this movie yet the lip syncing of character animation is so bad that it looks like I'm watching a dub movie. I have seen better quality from shows like South Park.

The son's voice sound way too much like an adult which is kind of creepy.

The story has been way over done before including the recent Next Gen.

The animation styles and quality is all over the place. It give it either and amateur made or unfinished feel.

Positives: It at least does a decent job at trying to keep entertaining and appealing to it's target audience. I would of gave it a higher rating if not for the negatives I mentioned. Even with the same over done story it could of been better given the animation & voices were done better.

Mortal Kombat
(2021)

It was mediocre
The highlight was probably just the fatalities. The story was meh. Acting was bad. Script was awful. CGI was okay.

I still give it a 10 because I'd like to see a sequel get made.

Thunder Force
(2021)

Only Value is Jason Bateman's Scenes.
I have at least somewhat enjoyed all of Mellissa's other movies even though some have been rather lacking in quality and comedy. However, this one was very low quality. The only decent scenes were the ones with Jason Bateman and they were only of Skit Show quality, not movie quality. Even Melissa had not much for any funny moments in the movie outside of the Bateman scenes. The worst acting and most uncomfortable moments were from Oliva's acting which was incredible slow, awkward and out of place. She sounded, acted, and moved like a slow elderly person. We are supposed to believe that she is super smart yet she talks like she is mentally slow and 1/2 out of it. I am guessing that might have been intended due to the intended comedy of things being ridiculous like Bateman being a crab man. One of the worst parts of the movie is that it doesn't keep a persistent tone or atmosphere and jumps all over the place. Also horrible is the random drawn out boring jokes that is the type of stuff normally cut from movies and maybe seen in deleted scenes or outtakes.

Overall somewhat disappointed although I was not expecting much from what I saw in the previews.

Champions
(2018)

Trans Woman playing Gay Male, why?
I found this to be rather offensive and poorly casted. I am not sure who to point blame at, be it Josie Totah for taking the role or for the person who casted them and or the writers that decided that Josie had to play the role of a gay male and couldn't play the role of a transgender female.

The first and main problem with this is that Josie doesn't use a flamboyant gay male voice and uses a transgender female voice trying to do a gay male voice in the show, pair that with the horribly synced voices to their lip movements and it looks like the character is lip syncing all the lines and someone else is doing the voice. What makes it worse is that if you watch a video of her on YouTube using her normal transgender female voice it's not even the same as on the show and actually feels more natural for her and doesn't sound fake or like as if someone else is doing the voice.

I find it ridiculous that the character could not have just been transgender in 2018, like as if that is too taboo and not acceptable but a gay male is ok. I think that should or would likely be offensive to many people. I do realize that she didn't fully come out as transgender until the year the show released but she has said on camera that she already knew she was transgender long before that.

Now with all of the gender stuff mentioned I will continue with how horrible the show is by mentioning how unlikable the characters are and how little sense most of it makes. They make the father character be a horrible heartless person at the start that would sell off the gym and leave his brother without a job and not even give him any notice, that he was just going to take off to Florida and disappear. Then you have the mother who is equally unlikable as she is a horrible parent that raised the child to be a total spoiled brat. Which leads into the teenager who is a horribly obnoxious spoiled brat. By into episode 2 they make you want to dislike the teenager so much and try to make you want to feel bad for and sympathize with the horrible immoral father character. It is like trying to get the audience to sympathize for an abuser.

If this is trying to preach PC agenda they are doing a horrible and offensive job at it.

Hubie Halloween
(2020)

You either enjoy Adam Sandler movies or you don't.
For those who enjoy his movies, they will enjoy this 1 for sure. For those who dislike or hate his movies then obviously they won't like it and I find it rather rude that they take their time to come write bad reviews. If they already know they don't like his work then why bother watching it? They insult his intelligence but obviously theirs is rather lacking if they are watching something they know they will hate but do so anyways....

The movie is jam packed with familiar faces that provide tons of nostalgia for the people who grew up watching his movies and similar movies.

Down to Earth with Zac Efron
(2020)

Not bad, not great.
About what you would expect from a series like this. It could be more entertaining to a person who has seen or knows very little about the world. Otherwise it is ok to watch if you are bored or to put on in the background. Not very much captivating(so far) as of Episode 2. The best part so far was the water tasting with Anna Kendrick as she made it more entertaining. Zac isn't overly talkative but at least gives a bit of an average realistic view at things while still having an open mind and willing to try unusual things. Darin Olien on the other hand seems like a self-proclaimed "woke" "new-age hippie" that is a contradicting "Yes man". In episode 2 he starts off agreeing with a guy about drinking only bottled spring water and to never drink tap or purified water, then in the next part of the episode he is agreeing with a woman in France that people should never drink water that comes out of a bottle. I'm sure that the previous guy has lost all respect for him after seeing the episode aired on Netflix. I still gave it a rating of 7 for Zac as I feel bad that it's not entirely Zac's fault that Darin brings down the quality of the show.

Iron Fists and Kung Fu Kicks
(2019)

Liberal Propaganda film using martial art films as a medium.
This documentary if you can call it that mainly comes off as presenting the views and opinions of Kung Fu movies from the view of African American person. It should be noted however that neither the writer, director, or producer are African American people. Almost a good majority of the movie is spent talking about movie theaters in African American neighborhoods and about how the African American people were responsible for the uprising and success of Kung Fu movies according to the opinions expressed in the film. It also spends much time talking about African American martial arts actors. The film also closes off with talking about Wakaliwood films. I have nothing against African American people but the whole movie seems to have a racial and gender undertone. It fails to mention much besides some small parts earlier on in history about China, Hong Kong, and the East-Asian market and support for the films. This is to be expected from a movie made by Veronica Fury and Serge Ou. What is also to be expected is that the film has no focused proper focused direction and feels like they just pasted together what they were lucky enough to pull together for people willing to let them interview them and video clips they managed to afford buying the rights to use. The video talks for a decent bit about Jackie Chan but of course they failed to obtain any interview with him at all. In fact, they were not able to get interviews with any famous martial arts celebrities of the last 30 years.

The film attempts to rely on large amounts of video clips of Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan along with some quick clips of Tony Jaa to hopefully win over the audience and make them think that this is a quality film. The film leaves out many very important people like Jet Li, director John Woo, and many others. It even talks about Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon without once mentioning Chow Yun-Fat but spends nearly 5-10min or more talking just about the female actors. The film also spends much time talking about protesting and rising up against oppression etc. Much time is spent talking about how things progressed up until the 1980's and then from 1980-1999 the entire timeline is just summed up with "During this time the videos came to home-video thanks to the support from African Americans during the 70's so all you wealthy suburban white people that watched the movies in the 80's and 80's can thank the African Americans for that!" then it proceeds into talking about The Matrix (1999). They skipped Jackie Chan's entire career outside of his initial Hong Kong films, skipped Jet Li and didn't even mention him once. After 1999 they jumped right into talking about how other countries started getting into martial art films and just left out the entire last 20 years of history. I guess it was too much for their budget to talk to anyone relevant from the last 20 years or even use video clips from that time period(save the few they used for talking about other international martial arts films).

Like usual Veronica has put large amounts of effort into using the film as a method to push Liberal propaganda as the film does not go 5 min. without making strong liberal messages. What is sad is that there is little effort made into actually making a documentary about Kung Fu movies and it seriously shows. Veronica and Serge used Kung Fu films for mental manipulation to push their political agendas with this film which was very disrespectful to the industry, actors, community, fans, and people who care about the films of the genre. It makes sense why no mainstream actors were willing to do interviews and support this film. I prefer not to pick a side in politics and have no hate for liberals. I just find it disappointing when people can't just make movies to be about the subject matter the movie appears to be about, instead the main intentions of the film are just to push political propaganda and the "subject matter" was just a medium used to manipulate the viewers with the propaganda.

Armed and Dangerous
(1986)

Hands down my favorite John Candy comedy film!
This movie was over the top full of laughs! Very uplifting movie that made me excited & happy and well entertained. It might not have the charming drama included that is found in other films of Candy's like Planes Trains & Automobiles but the laughs were great & put a huge smile on my face. Unlike many modern movies I didn't have to see the main characters brutally beaten or other disheartening stomach wrenching things that are sad or depressing. The movie gives you a happy feel all the way through and tons of laughs without having to go out of the way to be offensive like the typical humor so often found from 2005-2015 while also not having to strip the movie of anything funny by trying to be politically correct like movies of recent years.

Russian Doll
(2019)

1 of The Best Mini-Series I've Seen in Years!
This show is a great ride of emotions starting with funny then into intriguing while blending moments of sadness and moments of happiness and funny moments. Then near the end is gets seriously deep. I can't say anymore without ruining it. ;-) I highly suggest watching this if you are in for a good ride! Very entertaining and kept me interested right from start to finish. There are interesting plot twists and it keeps you wondering what will happen each next day that will be different from the last day or what will be changed from the day before. The story does an excellent job at building up attachment to main characters as well as developing them with more and more information as the series progresses. This show is definitely the type to binge watch on Netflix as it was very addicting and hard to stop watching. Each time an episode is done you are left wanting to know what will happen in the next day ahead. The show provides many flashbacks to the past for the main character to help explain them and develop what we the audience know about them while also having many present time event unveil throughout the episodes that also help build up the characters.

For sure this series is to me a 10/10 and was not lacking in quality.

The Room
(2003)

A Telling of the Modern American Women
In all honesty I actually enjoyed this movie and did not think it was bad like everyone else does. It is sickening how shallow, uncaring, and horrible people are these days that they just laugh at this and find it humorous. The movie both exposes what the typical Modern American/Western Women has become and at the same time it exposes how horrible, heartless, and ill-minded the people are that watch this and laugh about it. Being cheated on by the love of your life with someone you thought was your friend is not a funny thing to go through in life and I only hope that the people who laugh at this may one day have to endure the same thing themselves. Maybe then they will understand, however I doubt they will even care or even genuinely love the person they are with and probably cheat on them all the time.

If you are reading this "Tommy Wiseau" please know that at least 1 person genuinely enjoyed your film and found it emotionally moving. It is not you who failed at making a good movie, it is like your movie shows with modern women failing to be good people that modern Americans fail to be good people.

Doctor Strange
(2016)

Over glorified kaleidoscope special affects demo.
Despite all of the possible amazing magical power battles that took place there was next to none! The majority of the film is a boring story about an arrogant doctor that is told that he needs to be more humble along with a bunch of kaleidoscope special effects and shifting landscapes/rooms around.

There is very little of anything detailed of a story and the acting is all fairly dry and dead. They waste too much time at the beginning with establishing that he is a pompous jerk. The "love relationship" if there even is one is acted rather horribly. I have seen B-list movies that do a much better job with the acting for that part.

It truly is amazing how people can enjoy this and give it good ratings but then hate and rundown other movies just because they get attacked with whitewashing propaganda in the media.

The fact that the only main power that he uses is control over time is very lame and gives for very little action scenes. To top it off and make for the worst part of the movie; they didn't even have a battle scene at the end of the movie and he doesn't even fight the main enemy, all he does is trap the enemy(that is said to have control over time) in a time loop which makes no sense and making even less sense the superior being that should be used to the time issue gets restless and angry, they make a deal instead of Doctor Strange taking the time to learn more each death until he grows stronger & defeats him which provides the views with no entertainment at all.

Rick and Morty
(2013)

Beyond the common imagination!
Insane and out of this world! This is one show to finally have a different twist in a while but also mixes in what we are used to with a family situated cast like Family Guy & The Simpsons. Jokes and content are for sure to offend many as this show is intended for the darker minded or those who know much about the negative things in the world. If you are able to handle watching South Park or Family Guy then you will be able to watch this show. They try to make the jokes a bit different and that shows good work with getting laughs still from those who have already seen it all. If you have already watched through most popular cartoon comedy shows then you are in for a treat with this show. Here they take things to the next level with warping to different crazy places all the time. It sure keeps things interesting and mixes it up much more.
