I simply can't understand the last days reviews about any new movie.

Is it that our critics are jealous abvout the makers because they can't possibly show how to do it better?

I only have ONE remark about this film, i found it entertaining.

And THAT is what counts to me!

It's so great everyone is allowed to give their opinion, but it stops where one says what must be altered in characters and scripts and the whole screenplay.. You just say you like or dislike a movie, got amused or angered, but if you have critics of the actors, director, and the movie in it's whole, you must be able to proove, that you can do better.

Should we ever be so happy, all the criticasters on these pages know exactly how a movie has to be played, how the players have to act and the directors have to direct, without ever showing theirselves and proving they can do better. Simply, watch a movie and leave it if it's not what you expected, or keep watching if it's enternaining you, but keep your thoughts to yourself if you don't have the experience to make a masterpiece yourself!

Don't get your hopes up when comparising this to the "old" Walker, Texas Ranger, because they are definitely not the same. To me, Cordell Walker is the Chuck Norris i grew up with, and this is a completely different story. Nevr tehe less, this is a great start of a series that has much promises in it and the potential to make it true!

This is a series about an Dutch policeman in Amsterdam, but played by english speaking actors. What happened with the Dutch film industry that has prooven to be able to make some very good, world famous movies, and seem not competent enough to film their own writers novels?

I watched the complete series, and i've only one conclusion, it is not completed! The producers should shame the eyes out of their heads by letting it die a death like this!

Okay, we all agree this is NOT Perry Mason, but is that the sole reason to break this series into pieces? HBO made a mistake naming it to a long lost great storyteller and a famous actor that made this character alive, but think about it. The story isn't that bad as people say, and the acting is neither, and not any criticaster can proove, he/she can do it better then those that have made this series come to public.. You are all complaining just to get yourself into the picture, that's why i disgust this whole charade. If only a given name suffices to condamn any film or series, you all should be ashamed of yourselves, or show us you can do it better!

This will not be a review as you are used to, because i think most reviews here are pretty hypocrite. Sir Patrick Stewart is only 3 years older than i, and i've alweays admired his roles in both Star Trek and the X-Men. This new series is not too much different from his older achievements, i envy his capabilities on his age to still put down such a performance. You all should refrain from critics, unless you can make sure you make a better movie or series than the ones you try to break down for the other viewers. Critics should only be allowed to those that have proven to be masters in the matter, and able to show the rewards they got for being so. I have seen all the episodes sofar, and at my age of 77 it makes me remember the old series with Patrick Stewart, and though he aged, he hasn't changed at all in his acting, my respect. If you have complaints, try to show you are better in making series, or at least prove you are better, but if not, just be entertained and leave this discussion, critics are only for experienced persons,.

I like the show very much, only thing that always bothers me, is why they can't find actors that can speak Dutch in a proper way, with arabian or other foreign actors there's never that much trouble. And there are probably Dutch actors in the US that are willing to play their part.

Show us proove, that YOU can make a better movie, or hold your nreath!

The one and only Zorro in my eyes is Guy Wiliams, he made a far better performance than Regehr or Banderas. But i must say, i enjoyed this series.

Normally, i'm into action movies myself, and never make reviews because i think films are all a thing of enjoy or disguss, and they never can satisfy all people. This movie however is one of the far best i've seen since Gone with the wind, which might give you an indication of my age. I loved it!

I'm not a critic, i just look at films to see what they are and find myself some sort of entertainment. What i can't understand is how people that don't know anything about making films can't stand at telling they are satisfied or they find the movie bad. The reasons those criticasters give only show how little they really know about the movie making industrie, and they try to appear to be all knowing how a movie has to be in their eyes, without ever consulting the directors, producers or the actors themselves. Is there any criticaster that ever have for real been an actor him/her selve? Let people decide themselves what they think about story, choreography and the capabilty of the actors and makers of a movie without displaying your own complete ignorance, or proove to us, you really have an understanding of what you're writing about. Bad or good, i enjoy the way Nicholas Cage playes his characters, and after living for 76 years now, you can't tell me otherwise.

Though i hate this series are cancelled, the last two episodes were far beneath all expectations, the real cliffhanger was the episode where Cloe finds out Lucifer is really the devil. I sure hope, the company responsable for this whole great story will reconsider their cancellation
