Hawkeye: So This Is Christmas?
(2021)
Episode 6, Season 1

Big Letdown
As a huge MCU fan it pains me to say that this finale was extremely disappointing and just fell flat for me. I did not expect much from this show but was enjoying the cameos and general direction it was going in the first few episodes. Kingpin felt wasted and the final battle between Yelena and Clint was mediocre. The Larpers suiting up was so cringe worthy and unnecessary, Sword master felt like an unnecessary character with a stretched out arc that pretty much went nowhere but for him to take out a few tracksuits, not to mention one of the worst mid credit scenes from Marvel to date. Could have been much better, especially in comparison to some of the other MCU shows like Loki and WandaVision which had great finales and left me wanting more appearances from those characters. This has been my least favourite out of the MCU shows for sure.

Zack Snyder's Justice League
(2021)

Justice League done right
Zack Snyder finally delivered his vision to the fans and I was not disappointed. The 4 hour movie flew past and kept me engaged throughout the entirety. All characters were given satisfying story arcs and it felt like an actual team uniting and working together, unlike the theatrical cut which made the team feel useless with out Superman. I am extremely disappointed that WB will not continue the Snyderverse but am grateful to Zack for giving us this fantastic movie. A beautiful homage to his daughter, she would be proud. Well done.

The Walking Dead
(2010)

Season 9 is bringing TWD back from the Dead
So far season 9 has really kicked it up a notch. The last couple of seasons did feel like they were starting to drag but with the addition of the new characters and the time jump the mid season finale added has really kept me intrigued throughout the entirety of this season. Hopefully the show will continue to keep things fresh. Looking forward to the future of this show and the direction it has decided to go.
