Thor has been far from the most serious of the Marvel characters. This film is an action, funny cheese fest with a decent sound track. Loved it and actually cried at one point which greatly amused my wife. The movie is total make believe treat it as such, go watch it and have some fun.

Patience is a virtue...

I'm on two episodes in but I'm hooked whilst the alien invasion has started it's very low key as I imagine in reality any such thing would be. It's about the people and no story can be told without the people to fill the space. Whilst not action packed so far it has the feel of technical stability and good cinematography. Imagine squashing the Apple series Tehran together with Stranger Things and adding a dash of Signs and I think you'll understand what I'm getting at.

I've watched Bond films from my childhood (yes I'm fairly old) and generally enjoyed them all. The brutality of this one makes it one of the best. Go and watch it at the cinema it makes it that bit more special.
