Infinity Pool
(2023)

We walked out half way through. Wish we had sooner.
This was honestly one of the worst movies I have ever seen in my entire life. My girlfriend and I walked out about halfway through because we couldn't take it anymore and honestly we wish we had left sooner. It was disgusting, the music was like nails on a chalkboard, the story made no sense, the cinematography was nauseating and overall the entire thing (what we saw) was disturbing on so many levels. There is also violence that is way over the top and completely unnecessary even for a film that classifies itself as a "horror". I wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone or even to my worst enemy. This was truly one of the worst theater experiences of my life. 1/10 stars, no thanks.

The Suicide Squad
(2021)

Anyone who doesn't like this movie is a jerk
What's with all these 1 star reviews?! I feel like people don't understand that this movie is supposed to be stupid. It was a blast from start to finish. I was laughing throughout. 90-95% of the jokes landed for me, the cast was great, and the visuals were stunning. The only gripe I have with it would be the pacing, and the Harley side story felt a little out of left field, but overall it was an enjoyable night at the movies. Go see this one folks, you won't be disappointed if you go in knowing it'll be the dumbest movie you ever see but in the greatest way possible.

Sicario

White knuckled ride from start to finish
This film kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. I found myself clenching my fists for a good portion of it.

13 Reasons Why
(2017)

Should have been one season only
Season one was great. If you've heard good things about this show, it's more than likely things being said about the first season. The second season is okay but not as good, and then the last two are pretty bad. They're entertaining don't get me wrong-but in some of the worst ways possible. In my opinion, it turned into a show where they were exploiting serious issues just for shock value and to keep the show running-as opposed to addressing those issues and tackling them with a storyline that makes coherent sense.

Game of Thrones
(2011)

Don't listen to any 1/10 reviews
Any of those reviews will be from people spewing their anger over the fact that the ending wasn't what THEY wanted it to be, which to me is incredibly immature and childish. Could the ending have been better? Absolutely. The last two seasons are incredibly rushed, and as a result the conclusions don't have the clarity they should. However, if you think about it, the ending is not nearly as bad as people make it out to be, and it certainly doesn't ruin the series. If anything it just proves that the journey is better than the end. The show as a whole is fantastic. It's just that the last two seasons weren't up to par with the rest because the source material from GRRM wasn't there since the books are still being written. If you're willing to accept that going in, you'll definitely enjoy this show. One of the best fantasy TV series out there, you won't find better.
