Eraserhead
(1977)

"Bad" dreams.
I have a turtle. I've bought it for 50 in cash. This movie reminded me that I had a dream about my turtle. in it, my turtle was ugly. It was screaming and it started biting. When it bit me I smashed it to pieces. I'm also in the possession of a huge ostrich egg. I dreamed that my mother smashed it to bits and laughed. I was so upset I wanted to hurt my mother real bad.

People always appear and ask me things. About money, about time, about jobs, about movies. Then they leave, and I feel like an eraserhead.

This movie reminded me that we are surrounded by too many things. And if we die, these things won't die with us.

Vietcong
(2002)

I love it!
I love Vietnam stuff. I love the atmosphere, the sixties music and the grim meat hook realities of nam. I've played all Vietnam games that were ever published and I found out that vietcong is king.

This game has a GREAT atmosphere! ( the developers created the masterpiece Mafia, so it ain't really a surprise.) Unlike other Vietnam games, this game has a great build-up. Instead of putting a gun in your hand almost immediately when you begin playing, you'll have to wonder around base-camp and do missions like helping the local villagers by giving them supplies. This game isn't like medal of honor or call of duty. This is a story set in Vietnam.

+ The weapons look and feel great +atmosphere +cool missions that you've never played before in a nam game. +Lots of blood and violence. the blood effects look realistic and you can shoot of arms legs and heads ( Hey, it's nam baby!) +The jungle, Characters and lighting effects look awesome.

-There are some weird and ugly looking animations. -where are the cool scripted events? -The AI can get really bad sometimes

Sacred
(2004)

addictive
When I started playing this game I tought: Man, this is made by a bunch of amateurs! The graphics are nothing special. The 3D animations of the characters are sloppy ( except the death animations, they are pretty cool), and the 2D rendered backgrounds are really ugly when you zoom in. But still, the game has a kind of cozy look. And after a while you've probably gotten used to it. The gameplay is easy but gets harder later on. A good thing about this game is that you'll always know what to do and the game never gets unpleasently chaotic like in most RPG'S. And that's how this game can get pretty addictive. It can get boring sometimes but overall this is a pretty decent RPG dessert.

Baise-moi
(2000)

an infamous cult film
When I first saw the cover of the DVD I knew this was going to be a crappy movie that really tried to be the most violent movie ever made but after a few minutes watching it i realized I was wrong. The acting is not really good I admit but the porn star actors really showed their emotions and it was still very believable! The sex scenes also had a reason. Sounds strange, but you'll learn the personality of the characters with these scenes and why shouldn't you want to see all the parts with the penis and vagina and everything? besides, the characters think that's what sex is all about.

The camera work was amazing too! never seen anything like it! example: when nadine (or was it manu?) gets killed it all happens so fast I hardly realized that she was shot. Just like in real life if you ever witnessed something like it. there is so much more to say about this brilliant movie but I really loved it. Mark my words: this movie is going to be copied a lot!!
