Robotech: Love Live Alive
(2013)

If you have seen season 3 of Robotech, then you have already seen this film
As per the title. This film is merely a condensed version of Season 3 of Robotech (Invid Invasion). I still gave it a 6/10, as i enjoyed Season 3 and was delighted to be able to watch some of the more iconic moments from the season without having to rewatch the whole thing. The film concludes with Scott Bernard announcing to the rest of the Rebels that he is leaving Earth to meet up with the SDF-4 (which ties directly into both the Series Finale and The Shadow Chronicles). Then, as Lancer rides off on his Cyclone, he comes to a Cabin in the woods, where Sera (The Invid Princess and Lancer's Lover) meets him and informs him that she is Pregnant. Other than this little bit at the end of the film (last 10 or so mins) and some new Music throughout, there is very little added to the Universe of Robotech.

Tl;dr: if you want a refresher before watching The Shadow Chronicles, watch this film. Otherwise, it is not needed.

Fainaru fantajî XIII
(2009)

An under-rated gem
Final Fantasy XIII (and its sequels) is very different than the rest of the FF series. Especially its extremely linear pathing and story that you wont fully understand unless you read the datalogs. It (thankfully) got rid of Random Encounters for this game, and instead you can see your enemies, pick and choose your fights, and (hopefully) win. The music is not composed by Nobuo Uematsu for this installment, however this does not cut down on the quality of the soundtrack, as a lot of the songs are wonderful and memorable earworms. The story is genuinely good (in my opinion) and i like the themes that are covered by the game (taking charge of our destinies, not giving on to despair even when things get difficult, etc). The game is good, even if long and a little tedious. Get it when its on sale if you can. Dont buy it on PC though PC Port is not very good (not bad enough to take away from the game as a whole, but definitely not the best port i have played)

Raya and the Last Dragon
(2021)

My honest opinion on this film
I watched this film for free when it was made available on Disney+. To put it simply, this was... mediocre. The best way for me to describe it is if you took Avengers: Infinity War, broke it down into a plot checklist, then made your characters go from point a to point b on said list with very little organic movement between said points.

To be more specific, this film follows a somewhat standard Disney Animated Film Formula. Dead Parents? Check. Princess with Animal Sidekick? Check. Villain that gets redeemed at the end? Sort-of.

Not exactly my cup of tea, however if you enjoyed it, then good on you! Its just my silly personal opinion that you have every right to agree/disagree with.

If you want something with more thought and effort put into it, go watch Soul. That was always free and i would have gladly paid $30 to watch that film.
