Prehistoric Planet
(2022)

Very pretty CGI, no science
The dinosaurs look absolutely stunning.

However, that's it. You just watch dinosaurs going on about their life. There are no scientific explanations that you actually desire in documentations, no in-depth going about why the airsacks are there, why they supposedly behaved like that, etc. Nothing.

You could take the narration completely away and you would lose nothing - Attenborough literally just tells what's happening on screen.

Older dinosaur documentaries have me much better informed.

Marmaduke
(2022)

Equal to an acid trip
The filmmakers must have definitely been on something while making this one. If you want to watch a movie where you don't even know what you watched afterwards and lose some brain cells in the process, thinking 'what the fu-' every few seconds, then you've found the PERFECT movie!

War for the Planet of the Apes
(2017)

Astonishing
I was surprised it was THIS GOOD - easily the best out of the trilogy!

You can tell really well that whoever made this movie really cared about it and put so much effort into it. It wasn't predictable, the writing was amazing, and the pacing was phenomenal - the movie alltogether truly emotional.

What 1/10? If you want brainless action go watch Godzilla 2014 and sit 2 hours waiting, so you can see Godzilla for whole eight minutes in a two hour Godzilla movie. This movie here... is a masterpiece. I was shocked to see it had only an overall 7.4 Star rating, but put these goof reviews aside and you have a pure 9.1 at least.
