Mrs. America: Shirley
(2020)
Episode 3, Season 1

Someone give Uzo Aduba another Emmy
What a powerful episode! I thought Uzo Aduba was great in OITNB, but is BRLIANT as Shirley Chisholm. This is the role that was made for her, she truly grabs the audience with her powerful demeanor and sharp language. Three episodes in and this is looking to be a very promising mini-series, and I cant wait for the rest of the episodes.

Murder Mystery
(2019)

actually wasn't bad
Just a good movie for a chilling at home day during the summer. no harm in watching it, it's quite enjoyable and entertaining

Black Mirror: Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too
(2019)
Episode 3, Season 5

A different approach to a black mirror episode
I'm not sure why this episode is getting lower reviews, because it is very enjoyable. The story is intriguing and very clever. I think people might have different opinions because it is a more upbeat episode, even though it has some very dark themes in the episode. I think people should maybe give it a chance, it's a great watch.

When They See Us: Part One
(2019)
Episode 1, Season 1

Hard to watch knowing that this actually happened
A very griping pilot that is extremely hard to watch. You just have to watch it yourself to understand.

Veep: South Carolina
(2019)
Episode 4, Season 7

Reviewing as a South Carolinian, this is the best episode ever
This episode was great! It had some very South Carolina messages, and the plot involving the Chinese is just a hoot. Best episode yet!

The Act: A Whole New World
(2019)
Episode 6, Season 1

girls grow up, and become their mother
This is a great episode that gives an important backstory as to why Dede is the way she is. Margo Martindale is haunting as Dede's mother, and the audience gets an understanding of Dede's parenting ways.

Skin
(2018)

Horrifyingly Clever
Very thought provoking, and a huge moment that made everybody in the audience shriek with horror. Go see it!

If Beale Street Could Talk
(2018)

A Very Beautiful Movie
Great acting. Great story. Great production. AMAZING MUSIC! Tear jerking performance by Regina King. Very powerful message. Just a beautiful, amazing movie that needs to be seen!

Glass
(2019)

well that was interesting
Hmmm. Left not knowing whether I liked it or not but when I REALLY thought about I can say I did. Acting was good (even from Willis) and the last 3rd had an iconic Shyamalan sprinkle of genius. Would give it 8.2/10. If you liked the first 2 movies of this trilogy chances are you can enjoy this one.

The Favourite
(2018)

A twisted tale where everyone is using each other
This movie was outstanding! It was so beautifully written, it made me want to stay at the theater and see the next show...so I did. It's such as shame that both Wiess and Stone are supporting characters, because they both deserve Academy-Awards for their dark, and twisted characters. As for Coleman, she made this movie. She was absolutely convincing as an ill queen with an unusual backstory.

Now the screenplay was brilliant. The way that every character used each other in some way was marvelously written and everything flowed together and made sense. Characters who seemed flawless eventually crumbled, and the ones who seemed weak turned out to be disastrously strong. It was as if every character was playing chess with another one. They would all try to be 3 moves ahead of the other until their opponent has to forfeit. I was skeptical about it being billed as a comedy, but it made me laugh so many times. 10/10 would recommend. GO SEE THIS MOVIE!

Vice
(2018)

Drama that was forced to be a comedy
The movie was good. I personally wouldn't see it again but I'm glad I saw the movie. The acting definitely felt real, especially from Amy Adams and Christian Bale. The movie itself was primarily factual, but it all felt a little forced. The idea of pushing it as a comedy was definitely not a good idea, it would have worked way better as a drama. The whole narration by the guy who's heart Cheney gets for his heart transplant added nothing to the plot, and at times became annoying. Overall this movie was pretty good. I cannot speak for everyone, so I suggest you go see this movie and judge it for yourself.

Roma
(2018)

A real movie.
The way this movie made me feel is almost indescribable. Never had a movie made me feel like I was actually there like "Roma" did. The biggest thing that stuck with me was the scene at the end of the movie on the beach. Cleo fighting to go out against the waves was the perfect way to represent how she has felt during the entire movie. Yalitza Aparicio beautifully portrays a character who is a fighter. Through all of the hardships Cleo endures throughout the film, she continues on. The cinematography is marvelous, as is the story progression. The acting is just great from every character. This movie is so, so real that you forget that a genius actually wrote all of this on a script to be made into a movie. Do yourself a favor and find 2 hours and 14 minutes to watch this amazing film.

Getting On
(2013)

This show is SO FUNNY!!!
This is one of the best comedy shows I've seen in forever! The acting is great and I just can't get enough of it! It's such a shame a great show like this was short-lived. I highly recommend this show if you are into comedy shows that don't have laugh tracks.

A Star Is Born
(2018)

A Classic is Born (again)
Wow! This might be the best remake I've ever seen of any movie! Lady Gaga is absolutely phenomenal, she is quite the actress. Bradley Cooper is amazing as an actor, but his directing is remarkable. This is the best movie I've seen all year!

The Meg
(2018)

It actually wasn't terrible
I'll keep it short, but "The Meg" wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. You can definitely predict a few things that are going to happen.....but it's a summer blockbuster, it's all about the fun, and this definitely is a fun movie.

The Darkest Minds
(2018)

oh no.....
I.....don't even know what to say it was just so bad. How this movie even got made from the script is beyond me. I would say "Hmmm well maybe it looked good on paper" but the dialogue was predictable and dry. I personally haven't read the book, maybe it's a good book, I don't know, but this movie just flat out sucks. I saw it with a group of 7 people and none of us liked it. I wish we had seen a better movie, I really do, because it was just so unbearable to watch. I recommend this movie to no one. I'm serious. It's that bad. Do not watch it. Come 5 months and it's on some streaming service, knock yourself out, but seriously do not pay to see this you will be as disappointed as I am.

Orange Is the New Black: Who Knows Better Than I
(2018)
Episode 1, Season 6

Okay this episode is bad but it gets better
So I was kinda really disappointed by this season premiere episode. It wasn't at all what I was expecting and there was really no point in to the plot. They should've started this season with episode 2 and just scraped this one all together. it was so bizarre in the beginning it was hard to watch. overall this episode was not good but luckily i finished it and went on to the rest of the season. IT GETS BETTER! Seriously, it does....so just bare this episode and continue the season.

GLOW: Viking Funeral
(2018)
Episode 1, Season 2

GLOW is back and better than ever!
This episode was a great start to season 2 of GLOW. It was very enjoyable to watch and still as funny as the first season.

Hereditary
(2018)

Rosemary's Mother's Gran-baby
Wow! What a movie! From start to finish I was on the edge of my seat. It so cleverly pieces together the story into a gut-wrenching 2 hours and I wish it was even longer. The eerie music and akward camera movements are just brilliant, as is Toni Collette. This performance is so much better than her performence in "The Sixth Sense", she is just amazing. The cast is phenomenal, especially the actress who plays Charlie. I never see movies twice in the theater, but I went back to watch this a second time because it was just so genius. 10/10 would recommend.

The Kissing Booth
(2018)

how in gods name can people find enjoyment in this
It was so bad i honestly don't even know where to begin. like seriously, i can't put into words how bad this movie was. a friend of mine told me about this movie and after i finished it i called them up and asked if they were okay. it was so bad, legitimately so bad. the acting was beyond terrible. and the whole story is just pure nonsense for an hour and a half. the whole movie could've been portrayed in 10 minutes on a tv show or something. aside from the first 103 minutes of it, it was a pretty good movie

Westworld: Akane No Mai
(2018)
Episode 5, Season 2

The Maeve Game
What an episode! Truly, this is my favorite episode yet. The plot is epic and the acting is superb. The best storyline of this episode is the one following Maeve. Thandie Newton truly captures the emotions of a mother searching for her daughter, a the while being a fierce cold blooded killer.

13 Reasons Why: Bye
(2018)
Episode 13, Season 2

bad ending to a bad season
I'm surprised i even made it to the end of season 2.....it was just such a stretch. the first season was great, but then netflix wanted to keep the story going but didn't have good material to do so, and they ended up with a pretty bad storyline. this episode has its moments but was ultimately dull and repetitive.

Westworld: The Riddle of the Sphinx
(2018)
Episode 4, Season 2

the episode i've been waiting for
Wow. This episode was just great. Everything about it was awesome. I was hooked from start to finish and I can't wait for the next episode.

Westworld: Virtù e Fortuna
(2018)
Episode 3, Season 2

Finally, a good episode for Season 2
Unlike the episodes before this one, it was exciting. It's all starting to piece together and it's not confusing.

Westworld: Reunion
(2018)
Episode 2, Season 2

Doesn't look like anything to me
I'm not losing hope for the rest of the season, but oh god it was hard to watch this episode. Boring dialogue, bad acting, and not enough action. After the season premiere I was hoping this episode would be better, but unfortunately I was wrong. I only pray the rest of the season is better.
